Post-horse is an important part of the postal system,and plays an important role in politics,economy,military,transportation,production and life and so on in ancient China.Since last century,with the discovery of a large number of Qin-Han bamboo slips,for the study of Qin-Han dynasties to provide a lot of new materials,which greatly contributed to the subject of research.This thesis is foundation on the newly unearthed bamboo slips and the traditional literatures and materials of China in Qin-Han Dynasties,and combined with the research of the predecessor scholars.Firstiy,the species and sources of the post-horse are discussed in detail.Secondly,by a discussion about the feeding of the post-horse.Its feed is mainly divided into two types of food crops and forage,and has been noted the problem of food crops and forage was used mix-wise and forage was used coarse-fine.Thirdly,the management of the post horse was analyzed.The prescriptions were used in equine medicine and there has been The Horse Doctor in Qin-Han Dynasties,The technique of equine medicine has been relatively mature.After the death of the post-horse,to been an autopsy,and recorded in the form of Hence the book and then reported to the Chief.The rest should be sold in time except the parts must be handed over,the money must be handed over government treasury,as part of the money needed to buy other post-horse.The use of the post-horse in Qin-Han dynasties must have a keepsake that the certificate,this token is the character section,communication and so on,and the use of the mass transfer has strict rules.In the last part of the thesis,briefly discussed the role and influence of post-horse and postal system in Qin-Han Dynasties.
