A large number of studies have shown when individual making judgments of temporal self-appraise,tend to see the future more active than in the past and present themselves. While taking the perspective of others will enhance the justification. In this study, investigate the influence of perspective taking to temporal self-appraise.In experiment 1,30 subjects required to make the judgment under the condition of self-reference condition and others. Results showed that the reaction time on reference condition and time all have the main effect;the reaction time revealed an interaction between the reference conditions and time.Faster responses occurred in the self-reference condition and in future.Under the condition of self-reference,the reaction time in future faster than present and past, but no difference under the condition of other-reference.In experiment 2,30 subjects required to make the judgment under the perspective of self and close friends. Results showed that the reaction time on perspective and time all have the main effect, but no interaction between each other. In experiment 3,30 subjects required to make the judgment under the perspective of self and others. Results showed that the reaction time on perspective and time all have the main effect.Faster responses occurred in the self-perspective and in future time.Under the self-perspective,the reaction time in future faster than present and past, but no difference under the others. The present study suggests that individual tend to see the future more active than in the present and past;taking the perspective of close friend is unchangeable to temporal self-appraise;taking the others perspective will adjust the tendentiousness of temporal self-appraise.
