The New English Curriculum Standard emphasizes that students should form a comprehensive English language application ability in the stage of basic education,and vocabulary is the cornerstone of English language application ability,and its importance is self-evident.However,the current situation of middle school students'vocabulary memory is not objective,and there are some common problems in memory.On the one hand,students will not review the words after class,they just do not know how to timely review for the just learning words,so that causing the result of "fast memory,forget quickly".As for the words that have been remembered,they do not know how to consolidate the review regularly,gradually forgotten,leading to poor word memory effect.On the other hand,the students do not grasp the appropriate method of memory,and teachers can not accurately grasp the process of implicit memory,Therefore,the study of middle school students' vocabulary is often in the shallow level of simple processing,which makes the overall memory efficiency is low.This paper discusses how to improve the middle school students' English vocabulary memory efficiency from two aspects:review the words and improve the depth of word processing.First of all,based on the theory of Ebbinghaus forgetting curve and instructional design,the paper designs a word review time planning and the overall scheme of teaching and learning.Secondly,on the basis of the theory of cognitive processing level and the learning analysis technology,this paper analyzes and evaluates the learning process of students through the design of the learning analysis model,and gives feedback and guidance.This case study has chosen a whole class of students in Lushui First Middle School in Nujiang state,Yunnan province as the research object,and conducted a period of 21 days of online and offline experiment.Through the combination of online test feedback and offline review,students can form the habit of scientific word memory and review,so as to improve the efficiency of memory.This research is mainly divided into six parts:firstly,make a review on the research background,research contents and significance,research methods and theoretical basis,and then design the word review scheme and the learning analysis model,and design and implement the case,complete the final data collection,collation and analysis and draw conclusions.
