Joseph Upatham School opened up Chinese course in 2005,and it plays an important role in promoting and spreading Chinese as the school that opened up Chinese teaching in early time in Sam Phran.After the development of over ten years,Chinese teaching of the school has developed a lot,and the teaching scale has been constantly expanding.Chinese course has become one of the characteristic courses of the school.This paper will state the current teaching situation of the school from three aspects of teaching management,Chinese teachers and teaching resources.Through analyzing problems,it puts forward some measures.The research of the Chinese teaching of the school has reference and guiding significance to the Chinese teaching of private schools and missionary schools of Sam Phran of Nakhon Pathom Province in Thailand.Through teaching practice of about four months,the writer has objectively gotten the current situation of Chinese teaching of the school by combining interview,questionnaire survey,observation and so on.Through the initial constant exploring,the Chinese teaching of the school has gained a series of achievements at present.The semester teaching plan is relatively complete;student test and evaluation is comparatively standard;the teacher ability of Chinese course is relatively high;class environment is comfortable,and teaching equipment is complete;the consistency of Chinese materials of the school is strong.At the same time,the Chinese teaching of the school also has some problems.In the aspect of teaching management,Chinese course is mainly including the comprehensive class,and listening and speaking courses exist in name only;the teaching span is big,and teaching task is heavy;the adjustment of teaching of teachers is frequent,causing the big internal liquidity of teachers;the training rate of the teachers is low,and it goes against the self-development of teachers.In class teaching,Chinese teachers have rigid teaching way,and they don't value the cultivation of communication ability of students.It lacks for communication and cooperation among students.In the aspect of teaching resources,the applicability of teaching materials of Chinese class of high school;teaching supplementary materials are lacking;multimedia teaching resources are wasted and so on.Finally,aiming at the existing problems of the school,the writer puts forward relevant suggestions.Expand the teachers resources,and control the teaching dispatch;carry out teaching activities regularly,and strengthen the communication among teachers;teach students in accordance of their aptitude,and create interactive Chinese class;select suitable teaching materials,and implement the listening and speaking courses of Chinese major class;take full use of the existing resources,and promote the utilization rate of multimedia teaching and so on.
