Since it's independence in August 1947,Pakistan has gone through 70 years.Based on "All Muslims are brothers",Since it's establishment,Pakistan has faced many political and economic problems.Lacking of the development of democratic politics has had a very serious impact on Pakistan's political development and national stability over the next few decades.After Ali Bhutto stepped dow in 1977,his daughter Benazir Bhutto won the election in 1988,became the Prime Minister of Pakistan,formed her first government after 11 years of military control,Benazir Bhutto had also became the first female national leader in Pakistan and even Islam history.Benazir Bhutto grew up in a strong political atmosphere family,and the young Benazir Bhutto was sensitiv to politics than the other ordinary people.Harvard University and Oxford University study laid a full preparation for her political career.From 1977 to 1988,Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq was in charge of military control,during which Benazir Bhutto,as the eldest daughter of Ali Bhutto and the leader of the Pakistan People's Party,made unremitting efforts to fight against military control.During this time,she had long been suffering from prison,almost was killed.In 1988 Benazir Bhutto was elected as the prime minister of Pakistan and began her first ruling period.During this period,Benazir Bhutto's government was a minority government,facing strong opposition forces.From August 1989,the relationship between Benazir Bhutto and the President.military continued to deteriorate,as well as the opposition continued create difficulties and the problems existing in the people's party itself,In August 1990 President Ghulam Ishaq Khan dissolved the Benazir Bhutto's government and the National Assembly.In this ruling time,Benazir Bhutto took measures to promote political democratization in Pakistan.In the 1993 election,Benazir Bhutto was re-elected,she konwn more about how to deal with the relationship between the army and the elite of the officials.However,due to a series of reasons,on November 4,1996,President Sardar Farooq dissolved the Benazir Bhutto's government and the National Assembly.Since then the 1997 and 2002 year Pakistan elections,Benazir Bhutto led the People's Party continued to fail,Benazir Bhutto also exiled abroad,until 2007.In the complicated Pakistan,due to a series of reasons,the development of democratic politics has never been smooth sailing,a variety of political forces in the mad competition,the government constantly changing,social turmoil makes people feel uneasy.Benazir Bhutto's efforts to develop the democracy of Pakistan are also difficult roads.Benazir Bhutto's democratic political appeal represent the difficult process of political democratization in Pakistan,and branded a deep imprint in the process of Pakistan's political modernization.
