Study On The Technique Of "Scrubbing" In Traditional Chinese Painting

"Brush" and "wash" is widely used in ancient Chinese painting of two kinds of techniques,including "brush" is given priority to with "CunCa",on the performance of the object,"wash" give priority to in order to modify,to save the picture already in the failure.With the development of claborate-style painting techniques,modern and contemporary claborate-style painting combine clean and wash,referred to as the "scrub techniques.Modern and contemporary claborate-style painting application of scrubbing method,not only inherited the ancient modify and adjust the picture’s intentions,and a unique aesthetic ideal way that to be an artist.Thus,further study of scrubbing technique,not only helps to understand the techniques of ancient and modern evolution,and effective guidance to our creative practice.In this paper,we reviewed from six aspects: the use of a swab,ancient techniques;Second,the modern and contemporary wash techniques use;Three,scrub techniques of representative painters;Four,scrub techniques of concrete operation;The aesthetic orientation of five,scrub techniques;Six,scrub techniques used and enlightenment.
