Abstract/Summary:
The typography of multi-media environment is the object of the study in this paper,analyzes the typical trend of the diversification and aesthetic experience of the visual performance of typography combined with the changes between media and audiences in the multi-media circumstance.Firstly,the paper introduces the concept of new media,multi-media environment and typography,and analysis,induce and summarize the characteristics of them,so it’s clear that the new media is a general designation that based on modern science and technology.The multi-media environment is the new feature of social structure that received effect of the development of media,and typography refers to the design of the text as the element.Secondly,the paper focus on the application and the new principles of typography of multi-media environment to discuss,analyzes and expounds the characteristics of multi-media environment,such as diversity,openness,entertainment of information,and other aspects which are different with the traditional media environment.Last,analyzes and evaluate of the creative idea and practices of the proposition.In this paper,the author analyzes and discusses the diversity of behavior and existing deviation of the typography on the aspect of the application of typography in the multi-media environment.On the one hand,in the side of traditional media,authors focus on the material and creative thinking to take a new look of the new features of typography,in the side of new media,analyzes the application of typography through the aspects of interaction,dynamic feature,entertainment and freedom of the visual form and the media mode.Beside,in the side of application of space media,through the means of special light and the interactive experience of various media types to explore the diversity of the typography.On the other hand,the paper analyzes the changes of the feedback of media transformation,viewers and designers,the author thinks that the main problems are the lack of the combination with the new media features,and ignore of the new demands of the audience’s aesthetic and the failures of the designers professional quality.In summary,this paper pointed out that typography should be applied to the multi-media,and at the same time,should adhere to the basic principles of interaction and the epochal features of design.Finally,the author through the graduation creation makes a practical study on the two aspects of the presentation of typography and the aesthetic experience,in order to explore the possibility of application of typography in multi-media environment.
