Research On Words In Chaoshan Dialect

The basic work of archaic words in dialect research is to find the origin of the chaism from the diachronic perspective.This article's objects in Chaoshan dialect,and research as much as possible remain the archaic words in ChaoShan dialect,Establishing links between the dialects of ancient and modern.The content of this thesisdeveloped from twochaptes,Chapter one is the introduction,which mainly introduces the actuality of words significance and the research methodologies of this thesis.The main contents of this paper are included in the second chapter,that is,combining the ancient literature it investigates the classified archaic words in Chaoshan dialect from the two aspects of pronunciation and meaning.We have made a textual research of sorting on 118 words,which includes,astronomy(3 words),seasonal time(6 words),farming tools(7 words),industry and commerce(6 words),plant(7 words),animal(9 words),housing apparatus(8 words),relative personnel(12 words),physical illness(5 words),wearing clothes(4 words),daily life(4 words),wedding planning(8 words),life communication(9 words),sports education(2 words),behavior act(11 words),character level(17 words).
