The Study Of The Peking Radio Station During The Republican China Period

Early 20th century in the form of a radio telegraph technology was introduced into China.Because of its convenient signal transmission,without limitation line characteristics,it has been a strong attention by official and public.With the continuous advancement of radio technology,radio gradually derived therefrom.Osborne in Shanghai in 1923,the Americans established a "Radio Radio Corporation of China," which appeared in China's first radio station,then Harbin,Shanghai,Nanjing,Peking and other cities has been found in a number of government-run and private radio stations,the Peking radio stations is one of government-run radio station which first appeared.The Peking Radio Station developed in twists and turns during Republican China Period,it provided various radio programs,including political propaganda,social science education,entertainment,life service and so on.These programs are close to people's life,and attracted a lot of listeners.While thinking highly of the broadcasting,the listeners also held their own opinions on the programs,and always gave their feedbacks to the radio station.The Peking Radio Station was able to achieve its social function in such interaction.By introducing the development of the Peking Radio Station and its broadcasting,this paper is trying to see the listeners' attitude toward to the broadcasting,and what did the radio bring to the social life.In conclusion,the paper suggests that the broadcasting of the Peking Radio Station did enrich people's life and made it more convenient in certain ways,and the suggestions which listeners gave promoted the development of the radio station.
