On Wang Zengqi’s View Of Novel Language

Wang Zeng-qi in Chinese contemporary is an extraordinary writer.He was very concerned about language,which led him to an advanced view of language among the peers,therefore he managed to escape the shackles of traditional instrumentalism of language,stressing language ontology.He is the first Chinese writer who has brought forward the language ontology.His view of language created a significant impact on the development of language and literature in the New Period.From the view of novel language,the thesis studied the connotation of his view of language,which contains cultural significance,mobility and suggestibility of language,analyzed differences between representative theory and his novel creation theory.At last,the thesis made a analysis on the association between his view of language and the novel creation in the New Period,and contemporary literary construction.The first chapter of the paper is mainly introduces studies on Wang Zengqi.There was close relationship between Wang Zengqi’s unique literary work and his advanced view of novel language.Moreover,his cognition and interpretation of the language ontology plays an important role in Chinese contemporary literature,and the impact of the view of novel language on literary creation theory worth exploring.The second chapter,where interpretation of the view of novel language lies.Firstly there is a short background of the course from the traditional instrumentalism of language to ontology.Secondly there is detailed explanation of Wang Zengqi ’s view of novel language.The third section mainly introduces Wang Zengqi’s "writing a novel is writing language",which subverts the traditional view of novels being about characters and plots,and also replaces the traditional instrumentalism with ontology.The third chapter made a contrast between representative theory and Wang Zengqi’s theory,showing that his language ontology breaks the constraints of representative theory,which requires a story and focusing on a main character.That last part is the fourth chapter.The chapter talks about the influence of Wang Zengqi ’s theory on the theory of the New Period literature,and on the Construction of Contemporary Chinese Literary Significance.
