Poem is the jewel of literature crown. The translation of poems also plays an importantrole in the history of literature communication. In China, the translation of verse piecescould be derived from the Buddhistic translation. But the actual literary sensed poemtranslation led off from the late Qing. Along with the rise of vernacular Chinese, especiallyduring the New Culture Movement, a new form of poem arose at the historical moment, thefree verse. In the history of literary translating, especially on poem translating, there werewigs on green about how to translate a good poem. Some said that a good translationshould be faithful, and as long as the spirit was delivered, the forms can be sacrificed. Somerefuted that poems are the integration of meaning, rhyme, and image; losing the formmeans losing the spirit.This thesis stands on the foothold of poem translating forms, in the light of the twoclassifications, breaks through a further classification. Based on the analyses of the mimicpoem translation, this article tries to raise a new ideal pattern of poem translating for thelyrical original languages, such as Sanskrit, Bengalese, Hebrew language and Hindilanguage etc..
