Objective:Cubital tunnel syndrome is an ulnar nerve entrapment syndrome that occurs in the elbow.Due to a variety of factors, when the ulnar nerve passes through the elbow,it will be compressed and pulled, resulting in the weakness of the affected limb, heavy feeling, easy fatigue and other symptoms.Often due to the affected side of the increase in physical activity, the above sensory, functional and other abnormal symptoms gradually aggravated.Over time, numbness and even pain can develop to the ulnar side of the forearm and even to the inner side of the upper arm.Further development of the disease, hand internal muscular atrophy and even claw-shaped hand deformity.Cubital tunnel syndrome(cubital tunnel syndrome)has a higher incidence in clinical peripheral nerve entrapment, second only to carpal tunnel syndrome, which ranks the first. The treatment of cubital tunnel syndrome is divided into conservative treatment and surgical treatment, but mostly surgical treatment. After surgical treatment of ulnar nerve in the hand area of the state of compression, ischemia and edema are fully relief, but the recovery of nerve injury and functional rehabilitation will take a long time. From the perspective of Chinese medicine, cubital tunnel syndrome should belong to the category of Bi syndrome and Flaccidity syndrome. Its pathogenesis is the local qi and blood stasis,as well as bi for a long time, local muscle and muscle lost in implanting and turn into the syndrome of paralysis.Acupuncture of traditional Chinese medicine is effective in the treatment of peripheral nerve injury, electroacupuncture can enhance acupuncture action and therapeutic effect. In this study, the results of conventional functional rehabilitation treatment were compared with the results of functional rehabilitation after simple release of ulnar nerve through small incision for cubital tunnel syndrome. To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture on functional rehabilitation after cubital tunnel syndrome. Methods:According to the selection criteria, patients diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome in Tianjin Hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected.A total of 60 patients were admitted to hospital after screening. All patients were randomly assigned, including 30 patients in the control group and 30 patients in the treatment group. The patient underwent preoperative neurophysiological examination and filled out the cubital tunnel syndrome functional rating scale. After the improvement of the relevant examination, the same operation method--ulnar nerve small incision single pure release surgery was performed.Patients in the control group received routine postoperative dressing change, suture removal and rehabilitation treatment.Patients in the treatment group received electroacupuncture treatment 3 days after removal of stitches 2 weeks after surgery on the basis of routine dressing change, removal of stitches and rehabilitation treatment.Electroacupuncture treatment was performed for 30 min each time,1 time per day,7 times for 1 course of treatment,3 courses of treatment in total.Patients in the two groups were re-diagnosed 6 months after the operation for neuroelectrophysiological examination and efficacy evaluation with cubital tunnel syndrome functional rating scale. The results of preoperative and postoperative neuroelectrophysiological examination and efficacy evaluation of the two groups were statistically analyzed and compared by SPSS20.0 software. Results:There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in preoperative gender, age, degree of disease, and neurophysiological examination, with each P value greater than 0.05.The postoperative wound healing of the two groups was good, without any symptoms such as wound infection, and the wound healing reached I A.6 months after the operation, the two groups of patients had better self-perception than before the operation, and the numbness and pain of their fingers improved significantly or did not become worse.According to the evaluation criteria of cubital tunnel syndrome, the excellent and good rate of patients in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, showing statistical significance(P<0.05);according to the comparison of neuroelectrophysiological examination results, the detection results of patients in the treatment group were better than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Electroacupuncture has a significant effect on the recovery of ulnar nerve after simple release of cubital tunnel syndrome, and has a significant effect on the recovery of ulnar nerve and the sensory and motor functions of the innervated area.
