| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine Wenyang Yiqi method on mild hypothermia in treating patients with severe traumatic brain injury with cold phlegm syndrome pneumonia by reviewing the previous cases.Methods: This study was a retrospective study.A total of 70 cases of pneumonia with cold phlegm syndrome at the later stage of patients with severe traumatic brain injury who were treated with mild Chinese medicine Wenyang Yiqi method were selected.These 70 cases met the inclusion and exclusion criteria,whether the traditional Chinese medicine Wenyang Yiqi method is used to represent Fangshenfu Decoction.70 cases were selected and divided into an observation group,control group,there were 35 patients in each group.The control group had comprehensive basic medical treatment for severe traumatic brain injury and was treated with mild hypothermia for 72 hours immediately after admission or postoperatively.Each patient's hospital-acquired pneumonia was further diagnosed and treated.On the basis of the control group,the observation group was supplemented with the traditional Chinese medicine Wenyang Yiqi method to represent the decoction of Fangshenfu Decoction(modified)and Bisishenfu Decoction granules twice a day.By observing the patients' condition assessment results at admission,72 hours after mild hypothermia treatment,the seventh days and the fourteenth days after treatment,including gender,age,GCS score,body temperature,WBC,CRP,PCT,improved CPIS score,PSI score,and cough times,TCM syndrome score and classification of traumatic brain injury data were collected to evaluate the curative effect,after combined with statistical analysis and evaluation,the results were obtained.Result: By analyzing the clinical data of the cases,the following results were obtained:(1)The general data of the two groups,such as gender,age,GCS score,and other differences were not statistically significant,and P-values were both bigger than 0.05 were comparable.(2)From the perspective of pneumonia,the body temperature,WBC,CRP,PCT,modified CPIS score,and PSI score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after the fourteenth days of treatment,all these P values were smaller than 0.05,and the body temperature,WBC,CRP and PCT of the two groups after 14 days of treatment.The results of protein,modified CPIS score,and PSI score were all lower than those before treatment,allthese P values were smaller than 0.05.It shows that both the observation group and the control group can effectively reduce body temperature,reduce WBC,CRP,PCT,and improve the symptoms of pneumonia.The combination of Wenyang Yiqi method and western medicine comprehensive basic therapy are more effective in treating pneumonia after mild hypothermia in patients with severe traumatic brain injury.(3)From the evaluation of the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine,the total effective rate of the observation group was 85.714%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 62.857%.The total effective rate of the two groups before and after 14 days of treatment were significantly different,P value was smaller than 0.05,indicating that from the perspective of Chinese medicine cough Analysis shows that the effect of Chinese medicine Wenyang Yiqi method combined with western medicine comprehensive basic treatment on patients with severe traumatic brain injury after the treatment of mild hypothermia with cold phlegm syndrome pneumonia is more significant.(4)From the perspective of TCM syndrome scores of traumatic brain injury,the TCM syndrome scores of the observation group after 14 days of treatment were lower than those of the control group,P value was smaller than 0.05,and the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups after 14 days of treatment were lower than those before the treatment,P values were both smaller than 0.05,divided into 3 grades according to TCM syndrome scores.The total effective rate in the observation group was 94.286% and the total effective rate in the control group was 88.571%.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate before and after 14 days of treatment in the two groups,P value was smaller than 0.05.It shows that the treatment of both groups can effectively improve the condition of the severe traumatic brain injury.The Wenyang Yiqi method has a significant effect on the recovery of patients with traumatic brain injury based on the comprehensive treatment of western medicine,but there is no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the classification of points.Besides,there were no obvious adverse reactions caused by Shenfu Decoction in both groups before and after treatment.Conclusion: By observing patients with severe traumatic brain injury suffer from cold phlegm syndrome pneumonia after mild hypothermia treatment.The clinical effect of Fang Shen Fu Decoction,a representative of the application of the method of warming Yang and benefiting Qi,is significant.It is of great significance to improve the survival rate and promotethe functional recovery of patients with severe traumatic brain injury. |
