Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Instant-Effect Jiuxin Pills In Treating Stable Angina Pectoris Of CHD

Objective: To study the improvement of clinical symptoms in patients with stable angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease(CHD)using quick-effect acupuncture at Zhiyang,Xinshu,Geshu points with Instant-effect Jiuxin Pills compared with only using Instant-effect Jiuxin Pills.Methods: A total of 70 patients with stable angina pectoris of CHD were included in the acupuncture department of the first affiliated hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.70 cases were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method.Under the premise of basic treatment,the control group was treated with Instant-effect Jiuxin Pills 3 times a day for 2 weeks,while the observation group was treated with quick-effect acupuncture to at Zhiyang,Xinshu,Geshu points once a day and 6 times a week for 2 weeks on the basis of the control group.The evaluation indexes included efficacy index,TCM symptom scale score,Seattle Angina Scale(SAQ),etc.The results were statistically analyzed.Results:1.There were no statistically significant differences between the control group and the observation group in gender,age,height,weight,stroke type,TCM syndrome scale score,SAQ scale,and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)(P>0.050),indicating comparability.2.Comparison between groups after treatment: therapeutic effect index of TCM symptoms:(1)The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.050);(2)TCM syndrome scale score: the observation group was better than the control group in improving chest pain,chest tightness,shortness of breath and pulse condition(P<0.050),and had the same effect in improving palpitations,chills,cold limbs,numbness of limbs,skin malocclusion,spontaneous sweating,insomnia and tongue image compared with Instant-effect Jiuxin Pills alone(P>0.050).(3)SAQ scale: the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.050)in anginal stability(AS),anginal frequency(AF)and treatment satisfaction(TS),and there was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in physical limitation(PL)and disease cognition(DS)(P>0.050).(4)NIHSS score: both groups had the same effect on improving the neurological function of patients(P>0.050).Conclusion: Quick-effect acupuncture at Zhiyang,Xinshu,Geshu points with Instanteffect Jiuxin Pills to treat coronary heart disease with stable angina compared with the simple use of Instant-effect Jiuxin Pills can better improved chest pain,seizure frequency,chest tightness,shortness of breath and pulse condition,stable states of patient's life,improve the quality of life,and patient's satisfaction.
