ObjectiveThis study explored the changes and correlation of various laboratory indicators in the body caused by HIV and HCV co-infection,and provide important information for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods75 patients with HIV and HCV co-infection admitted to the Eighth People's Hospital of Guangzhou from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected as the study subjects.75 patients with HIV mono-infection and 75 patients with HCV mono-infection were selected as the control group. We retrospectively analyzed and compared the infection pathways, starting symptoms, opportunistic infection pathogens, and the index of blood cell, coagulation function, liver and kidney function, cellular immune function, viral load and HCV genotyping in each group, and discuss the correlation of HIV and HCV viral load, and the correlation of D-dimer with viral load and CD4~+T lymphocytes.ResultHIV and HCV co-infection patients are mainly transmitted through intravenous drug abuse, and the HCV genotype is mainly type 6a.The starting symptoms were fever and respiratory symptoms.Mycobacterium tuberculosis was the most common opportunistic infection, followed by Marnefera.Compared with the HIV group,PLT is significantly reduced,BIL,DIL,TBA,CG,ALT,AST,GGT,ALP and LAP were significantly increased in HIV/HCV group.Compared with the HCV group,Hb and CD4~+T lymphocyte counts were decreased and D-dimer was significantly increased in HIV/HCV group.D-dimer was positively correlated with HIV viral load and negatively correlated with CD4~+T lymphocytes in HIV/HCV group. There was obvious negative correlation between HIV viral load and CD4~+T lymphocytes and no significant correlation between HIV and HCV viral load in HIV/HCV group.ConclusionPatients with HIV and HCV co-infection are prone to anemia, decreased platelets, impaired liver function, cellular immune deficiency, hypercoagulability and other symptoms, which should be treated as soon as possible.
