Study On The Staging Differentiation And Treatment Of Strokes

Purpose:Through reading and collecting a large number of related books and papers,systematically researching the related ancient literature of the strokes,combined with the background of the times,systematically sort out the understanding of the strokes.Meanwhile,through summarizing stages of strokes in modern medicine and TCM clinic,grasp the fundamental direction of the staging differentiation treatment in TCM clinic.On this basis,make generalization and summarization of the staging differentiation treatment in ancient literature.This study can provide reference to the staging differentiation and treatment of strokes,also can provide a theoretical basis for improving the differentiation and treatment system of TCM strokes.Method:Based on the extensively collected literature,this study follows the literature to study the basic methods,combining historical analysis methods,collating and researching,collecting the literature materials of strokes,literature and papers,consult other relevant non-medical literature to enrich and the research of this topic.According to the collected literature.summarize the origin of academic connotation of strokes,and the arguments of ancient doctors on the diagnosis and treatment of the strokes' staging.Result:This paper includes five parts mainly.The first part is to discuss the meaning and concept of the stroke.The original meaning of Zhong-feng is the wind hits human bodies.Before Song Dynasty,it used to be its original meaning.After Yuan Dynasty,Zhong-feng became to a name of disease.Today,Zhong-feng has become a name of disease totally.The second part is to discuss the fundamental direction of staging differentiation treatment in TCM clinic.According to the clinical staging of strokes,the course of strokes usually is divided to Presymptom phase,Acute phase,Recovery phase,Sequelae phase.The third part is to summarize the laws of the the staging differentiation treatment in ancient literature on the basis of clinical staging of strokes.In ancient literature,the symptom of Presymptom phase can be divided to four types:the abnormity of limbs' motor and sensory,the abnormity of head,the abnormity of consciousness,the abnormity of other feelings.The Presymptom phase includes the Exogenous-wind syndrome,the Phlegm-heat syndrome,the Qi deficiency syndrome,the Liver yang syndrome.The Acute phase can be divided to meridian-organ syndrome differentiation and Blockage-prostration syndrome differentiation.The Meridian syndrome doesn't have mental symptoms,and the Organ syndrome has mental symptoms.The Blockage syndrome has lockjaw,limb spasm,phlegm nimiety.The Prostration syndrome has uracratia,paralysis,lethargy.The Recovery phase can be divided to the Reversed flow of Qi syndrome,the Qi deficiency syndrome,the Phlegm-dampness syndrome,the Heat syndrome,the Liver yang syndrome and the Yin deficiency syndrome.Sequelae phase can be divided to dyskinesia and aphasis.,and Asthenia of qi and blood syndrome,wind-dampness syndrome,the heart-fire syndrome,and the Kidney deficiency syndrome.The fourth part is therapies to the staging of strokes.In ancient literature,it has prescription therapy and acupuncture therapy to Presymptom phase.The therapeutic methods includes the Dispelling Wind therapy,the Dissolving phlegm therapy,the Invigorating qi and blood therapy,and the Moxibustion for preventing stroke.Acute phase The Acute phase can be divided to meridian-organ syndrome differentiation and Blockage-prostration syndrome differentiation.Ancient doctors use wind-dampness and blood-enriching therapy to treat the wind-hit-vessel syndrome,clear hollow viscera therapy to treat the wind hit hollow viscera syndrome,inducing resuscitation therapy to treat the wind-hit-viscera syndrome.To treat Blockage syndrome,ancient doctors used prescription therapy,emetic therapy,induce-sternutation therapy,rub-teeth therapy and acupuncture therapy.To treat prostration syndrome,they restored Yang from collapse and used Moxibustion therapy.To treat hemiplegia,ancient doctors used nourishing qi-blood therapy and expelling wind-damp therapy.To treat dysphasia,they uses recover voice therapy.The staging differentiation treatment of strokes in ancient literature gives expression to three therapeutic principles:the principle of prevention of disease,the principle of relieving the secondary symptoms first in treating acute disease and the principle of flexibly use therapies.The fifth part makes a summary of the whole paper,pointing out the innovation and deficiency of this research,and also puts forward the prospect of future research as well.
