Objective:This experiment was to study the Vacuum Assisted Closure(Vacuum-Assisted Closure,VAC)joint of acidic fibroblast growth factor(acidic fibroblast growth factor,aFGF)in the clinical observation on treatment of refractory wounds. Methods:Eighty patients with refractory wounds admitted to the burn injury department of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected, and the patients were randomly divided into VAC combined with aFGF group(experimental group)and VAC group(control group)by random number method, with 40 patients in each group.Clinical indicators such as granulation tissue maturity, positive rate of wound culture at admission and second operation, number of operations, total length of hospital stay, hospital expenses, and complications(including infection, itching and tension blisters)were compared between the two groups. Results:The first postoperative day 8,15 days after the trial group and granulation tissue mature rate is 45.0%,82.5% respectively, the control group was 22.5%,55.0% respectively(P < 0.05,P < 0.05);the positive rate of bacterial culture after admission and the second operation was 65% and 27.5% in the experimental group and 60% and 35% in the control group, respectively(P > 0.05,P > 0.05);and group operations 2.73 ± 0.93 times, the control group was 3.30 ± 1.36 times(P < 0.05);hospitalization days trial group 31.18 ± 12.59 days,in the control group was 46.90 ± 25.02 days(P < 0.05);Group hospitalization cost 5.35 ± 2.60 million yuan, the control group was 7.26 ± 4.15 million yuan(P < 0.05);the experimental group and control group in hospital complication rates were 5%(P > 0.05).The incidence of complications during hospitalization was 5% in the VAC combined with aFGF group, and 5.0% in the VAC group(P > 0.05).Conclusion:VAC combined with aFGF in the treatment of refractory wounds can promote the growth of wound granulation tissue, reduce the number of operations, shorten the wound healing time, and reduce the economic burden of patients, which may have good clinical application value.
