Objective:To explore the correlation between the detection value of 14C-urea breath test?Disintegrations Per Minute,DPM?,lifestyle habits and dyspeptic symptoms and the severity of inflammation in gastric mucous,to provide a reference basis for clinicians on evaluating the severity of inflammation in gastric mucous and improving dyspeptic symptoms of patients. Methods:In this study, stratified random sampling method was used, and 454 patients who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University from October 1,2018 to July 31,2019 were included. All patients underwent questionnaires,14C-urea breath test, and pathological examination of tissue sections in gastric mucous by electronic gastroscopy.Through the questionnaire, the patient's basic life data such as age, gender, smoking, drinking, drinking habits, strong tea/coffee,spicy food, stimulation drugs in gastric mucous, stress and dyspeptic symptoms,14C-urea breath test were used to detect DPM value, and the pathological examination of tissue sections in gastric mucous by electronic gastroscopy was obtained to determine the results of Hp density and the severity of acute inflammation and chronic inflammation in gastric mucous.By using chi-square test,one-way analysis of variance, logistic regression analysis and other statistical methods, the correlation between DPM value, lifestyle habits and dyspeptic symptoms and the severity of inflammation in gastric mucous was explored.Results:1.A total of 454 subjects were studied. There were 200 males and 254 females among the subjects. The average age was 48.50±10.99 years old; There were 263 positive people and 191 negative people in the14C-urea breath test; There were 292 people with dyspepsia and 162 people without dyspepsia;Pathological examination of tissue section Hp density in gastric mucous:Negative?-?147 people,positive:?+100 people,2+143 people,3+64 people?307 people; The severity of acute inflammation:no 90 people, mild 146 people, moderate 179 people, severe 39 people; The severity of chronic inflammation:no 4people,mild 123 people, moderate 202 people, severe 125 people.2.?1?DPM value was positively correlated with Hp density, and the difference was statistically significant?R=0.47,P<0.05?;?2?Hp density was positively correlated with the severity of acute inflammation, and the difference was statistically significant?R=0.72,P<0.05?,which was positively correlated with the severity of chronic inflammation, the difference was statistically significant?R=0.70,P<0.05?;?3?DPM value was positively correlated with the severity of acute inflammation, and the difference was statistically significant?R=0.21,P<0.05?,while DPM value was positively correlated with the severity of chronic inflammation, and the difference was statistically significant?R=0.22P<0.05?;?4?Drinking alcohol and hot water in lifestyle habits were risk factors for acute inflammation in gastric mucous. The difference was statistically significant??2=8.78,13.48,P<0.05?;?5?There was no significant difference in the severity of inflammation in gastric mucous in patients with different dyspeptic symptoms?P>0.05?.?6?There was no significant difference in dyspeptic symptoms in patients with different Hp densities?P>0.05?;?7?There was no significant difference in dyspeptic symptoms in patients with different DPM values?P>0.05?;?8?Compared to females, males were more prone to dyspeptic symptoms, and the difference was statistically significant?OR=2.21,95%CI=1.05?4.66?.There was no significant difference in dyspeptic symptoms in patients with different living habits?P>0.05?.Conclusion:1.DPM can be used to indirectly evaluate Hp density and gastric mucosal inflammation in patients with HP-related gastritis to a certain extent;2.Drinking alcohol and drinking hot water can cause the occurrence or aggravation of acute inflammation of gastric mucosa. In daily life,we can try to avoid excessive alcohol and drinking hot water,so as to better prevent the occurrence or aggravation of inflammation of gastric mucosa;3.Men are more likely to suffer from dyspepsia than women; The relationship between DPM,lifestyle and dyspepsia symptom was not significant.
