Objective:(1)Investigate the expression of HER2 and Ki-67 in gastric cancer. In parallel with studying the correlation between different clinicopathological factors and HER2 protein and Ki-67.(2)Investigate whether HER2 and Ki-67 are related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer.(3)Explore the differences between immunohistochemistry of cardia cancer and gastric body and gastric antrum cancer in southern Hebei. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 143 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital.Immunohistochemical techniques were used to detect the expression of HER2 and Ki-67 in gastric cancer tissues. At the same time, retrospective analysis was performed on HER2,Ki-67 and other clinical pathological indicators between their correlation.Results:(1)The positive expression rate of HER2 and Ki-67 in gastric cancer tissues: HER2 was 11.2%(16/143),Ki-67 was 90.3%(129/143).(2)In gastric cancer, there is a large difference in positive expression of HER2 between different degrees of tissue differentiation, which is statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant correlation inthe age, gender, tumor size, tumor site, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion, vascular invasion, nerve invasion, and pTNM staging with positive expression of HER2,and the differences were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).(3)In gastric cancer, the positive expression of Ki-67 in the stomach from the cardia to the stomach body and the gastric antrum was significantly different, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(4)In gastric cancer, the positive expression of Ki-67 in the gastric cardia, gastric body, and gastric antrum was significantly different, which was statistically significant(P <0.05).In gastric cancer, the positive expression of Ki-67 differed significantly between the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis(P <0.05);The positive expression of Ki-67 was no significant correlation in age, gender, tumor size, tumor site, the degree of tissue differentiation, the depth of infiltration, the presence of nerveinvasion, the presence of vascular invasion, and pTNM.There were no statistically significant(P> 0.05).(5)There is no significant correlation between HER2 protein and Ki-67 in positive expression of gastric cancer(Spearman test: ?2= 1.955,r = ?0.117,P = 0.164 > 0.05)Conclusions:(1)The positive expression of HER2 protein and Ki-67 is related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer.(2)The positive expression of HER2 protein is related to the degree of tissue differentiation of gastric cancer. There was no significant correlation in age, gender, tumor size, tumor site, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion, vascular invasion, nerve invasion and different pTNM stages.(3)The high incidence of tumors of the esophagus-gastric junction(cardiac cancer)in the southern region of Hebei is closely related to the positive expression of Ki-67 protein.(4)The positive expression of Ki-67 is related to lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer. There was no significant correlation in age, gender, tumor size, tumor site, degree of tissue differentiation, depth of invasion, nerve invasion, vascular invasion, different pTNM stages clinicopathological features.(5)There is no significant correlation between HER2 protein and Ki-67 in gastric cancer.
