Objective:To determine the risk factors and the indicators associated with systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)after flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy(FUL)and to build a predictive modelMaterials and Methods:Retrospectively analyze the patients'information from September 2015 to July 2018.Basic information and the clinical data were obtained for analysis. All the patients were divided into two groups based on whether postoperative SIRS developed, and the risk factors were analyzed.Multivariable logistic regression analysis was then performed for independent risk factor and a predictive model would be established based on the regression equation. Results:In total,2354 patients who underwent the FUL procedure were enrolled in the study, and 75(3.19%)patients developed SIRS after FUL.Gender, preoperative mid-stream sample of urine culture, stone size, preoperative blood white blood cell,CRP,IL-6,urine white blood cell and postoperative blood white blood cell, neutrophil percentage,CRP,PCT,IL-6,urine white blood cell as well as the operation time were recognized as statistically significant. The multivariable logistic regression analysis suggested gender of female, large stone size, high preoperative CRP and urine white blood cell, and long indwelling time of Double-J stent as independent risk factors. Conclusions:We recognized gender of female, large stone size, high preoperative CRP and urine white blood cell, and the long indwelling time of the Double-J stent as independent risk factors of SIRS after FUL,and a predictive model was introduced to forecast SIRS rate after the FUL.
