Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy is a group of diseases that coexist in pregnancy and hypertension,including gestational hypertension,preeclampsia,e clampsia,and chronic hypertension with superimposed preeclampsia and chronic hypertension,which is a serious threat to maternal and infant health.It is the main reason for the increase of maternal and perinatal mortality.Preeclampsia often occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy,with hypertension,proteinuria and edema as the main symptoms,with or without multiple organ damage.Accordi ng to the preeclampsia time classification,34 weeks as the bounded early-onset preeclampsia(EOPE)and late-onset preeclampsia(LOPE),especially early-onset preeclampsia is more harmful to mother and child.The prediction of preeclam psia is of great significance for early prevention and treatment,and reducing m aternal and infant mortality,but there are no particularly effective,reliable and economical prediction methods currently.ELABELA is a peptide made up of 32 amino acids discovered by pauli a nd chng in 2014.The expression peaked during the embryonic period and then decreased with the growth of the individual.Both ELABELA and apelin are l igands of APJ and can be predicted to have similar biological functions by act ing on APJ receptors.Several studies have shown that HIF-1?regulates apelin/A PJ expression.The combination of HIF-1?and the anoxic response element(HE R)located in the first intron region of apelin promoted the expression of apeli n.Hypoxia is a key step in apelin/APJ signaling initiation.It has been demons trated that HIF-1?can induce apelin/APJ expression in multiple tissue cells und er hypoxia.It can be seen that apelin/APJ can play a biological role as an im portant downstream factor of HIF-1?under hypoxia.However,the role of ELA BELA in the physiological and pathological process of gestational hypertension is still in its infancy.To explore the role of ELABELA in preeclampsia and its related mechanis ms.We selected 30 patients with preeclampsia and 30 pregnant women with n ormal pregnancy as the control group from January 2019 to December 2019 in the second hospital of Jilin university.There was no significant difference in general data between the two groups(p>0.05).The protective effect of ELABE LA on preeclampsia and its correlation with HIF-1?were observed by detecting the expression of ELABELA in the serum and HIF-1? mRNA in the placenta tissue of pregnant women.The results showed that the expression of ELABEL A and HIF-1? mRNA were significantly increased in the serum and placenta ti ssue of pregnant women with preeclampsia.Above all,we draw the conclusion:1.The level of ELABELA in the serum of pregnant women with preeclampsia was significantly increased.2.The expre ssion of HIF-1? mRNA in placenta of pregnant women with preeclampsia was significantly increased.3.There was a positive correlation between the level of ELABELA and the level of HIF-1? mRNA in placenta.4.The changes of ser um ELABELA level and HIF-1? mRNA level in placenta may provide a new way for the early prevention and treatment of hypertensive disorders of pregna ncy.In view of this study is only a small sample of clinical observation study,in order to clarify the clinical application value of ELABELA and HIF-1?,fu rther exploration is needed in large sample,prospective cohort clinical trials an d systematic in vitro intervention experiments.
