?Objective? The study on the correlation between intraoperative hemorrhage, infection, pain and function of synovial membrane treated by total knee arthroplasty in osteoarthritis provides a clinical basis for whether ST is routinely performed during total knee arthroplasty.?Methods? From October 2018 to October 2019,98 patients with knee joint were admitted to the department of orthopedics of our hospital, and 65 samples were obtained through inclusion and exclusion criteria.Among them,30 patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty and retained synovium were defined as the control group,male/female: 14/16;Total knee arthroplasty combined with synovium resection was performed in 35 patients, defined as the experimental group,male/female: 18/17.The difference of HB before and 3 days after surgery was compared between the two groups. The drainage volume of the drainage bag in 48 hours;Operation time;Hospitalization days;VAS score before surgery,2 days after surgery and 1 week after surgery;Knee HSS score before surgery,2 weeks after surgery and 3 months after surgery;Number of cases of postoperative infection.?Results? The difference of hemoglobin before and 3 days after surgery and the 48-hour drainage volume of the drainage bag in the ST group were both higher than those in the retention group.Independent sample t test was used, and p<0.05,indicating significant differences.Independent sample t test was performed on the data of length of stay in the ST group and the retention group, and p>0.05 was obtained, with no statistically significant difference. The operation time of patients in the ST group was longer than that in the retention group.Independent sample t test was used, and p<0.05 was obtained, with statistically significant difference.One-way analysis of variance was performed on HSS score and VAS score of knee joint in the two groups. The independent sample t test was used to test the HSS and VAS scores of the knee joints between the two groups. The infection rate of ST group was higher than that of the retention group, and chi-square test was used,p<0.05,showing statistically significant difference.?Conclusion? The results presented in this trial suggest that TKA has significant therapeutic implications for pain relief and functional improvement in patients.Routine exercise of ST in TKA therapy in KOA patients has no benefit in reducing pain and improving knee joint function, instead it increases postoperative blood loss and increases the incidence of infection. It is necessary to retain normal synovial tissue during TKA.
