Mental Status Of Patients With Dental Fluorosis And Satisfaction Analysis After Bleaching

Objective The psychosocial condition of patients with dental fluorosis and the satisfaction of patients after bleaching are analyzed,so as to provide research basis for the correlation study of dental fluorosis disease and patients' mental state and provide evaluation basis for the treatment effect of dental bleaching technology.Methods A random number table method was used to randomly select 50 patients with fluorosis and non-fluorosis from September 2018 to January 2019 who were treated in the dental pulp department of the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University.The self-assessment scale(SCL-90)was used to assess the symptoms of psychological reactions,and to fill out a questionnaire on the perception and attitude of teeth.Patients were then treated with enamel microabrasion combined with home teeth bleaching combined with Opalustre microabrasion and Opalescence PF(10% CP)in-home tooth whitening system.Review at 1,3,6,and 12 months after the treatment.Patients were subjected to general oral examinations,photographs,and VITA colorimetry.VITA colorimetry was used to observe changes in tooth color in different Stages of the postoperative period.At the same time,the patients filled in the questionnaire of satisfaction after tooth bleaching,sorted out the data and conducted statistical analysis to understand the changes of satisfaction in different periods after tooth bleaching.Results1.There were significant differences in the scores of interpersonal sensitivity,anxiety and depression between patients with fluorosis and non-fluorosis(P<0.05).2.There were significant differences between patients with fluorosis and non-fluorosis insatisfaction with tooth shape and color,attention to teeth in conversation anddemand for tooth bleaching(P<0.05).3.Satisfaction of patients with dental fluorosis varies at different period after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Dental fluorosis affects the mental health of patients.Most dental fluorosis patients have the need for tooth whitening.2.Satisfaction of patients with dental fluorosis has changed at different stages after bleaching.
