ObjectiveThis survey aimed to know the current sleep quality situation of the resident population aged 18 and above in Hebei Province, and explore the influencing factors of sleep quality recovery of adult residents,so as to provide scientific basis for formulating effective intervention policies and improving sleep quality of adult residents in the whole province.MethodsThe survey was carried out by stratified cluster random sampling. The subjects were residents aged 18 and over in Hebei Province. The sex, age,BMI,education level, occupation, urban and rural conditions of the adult resident population were collected by the general situation questionnaire;Whether or not use electronic products at night were investigated by the life history questionnaire; The situation of hypertension and diabetes were collected by the body situation questionnaire;Eating sweet food, pickled food,Milk, drinking, smoking, sedentary and sedentary time problems were collected by the behavior life style questionnaire in the adult resident population;Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)was used to investigate the information of sleep quality, sleep time, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, hypnotics and daytime function impairment of the adult resident population.Firstly, the distribution of PSQI total score of the respondents with different characteristics was described by means of median(P25-P75)and nonparametric test. Then, the single factor analysis of sleep quality was carried out by ? 2 test. Finally, taking sleep quality as the dependent variable(good sleep quality = 1,poor sleep quality = 0),a multi factor Logistic regression model was established to explore the sleep quality and its influence of the permanent residents aged 18 and over in Hebei Province The relationship between factors.ResultsThis survey involved 29182 samples,21376 valid questionnaires, and the response rate was 73.25%.Among them,9839 were male and 11537 were female, the ratio of male to female was 1:0.85;7292 were young(34.11%),6738 were middle-aged(31.52%),and 7346 were old(34.57%).Among all the respondents,6570 had poor sleep quality(PSQI > 5 points),accounting for 30.74% of the total. This study suggests that individuals with normal BMI(OR=0.838,95%CI =0.722~0.972),higher education level(OR=0.843,95%CI =0.783~0.908;OR=0.712,95%CI =0.648~0.781),occasional(less than or equal to 1 time / week)sweet food(OR=0.892,95%CI=0.805~0.989),occasional(less than or equal to 1 time / week)or never salted food(OR=0.735,95%CI =0.666~0.811;OR=0.735,95%CI =0.659~0.820),regular(4-5 times / week)milk drinking(OR=0.816,95%CI =0.686~0.972),no smoking(OR=0.829,95%CI=0.753~0.912)and 2-3 hours sedentary time per day(OR=0.890;95%CI=0.825~0.959)have good sleep quality. However, the sleep quality of female(OR=1.742,95%CI=1.606~1.889),middle-aged and old people(OR=2.220,95%CI =2.038~2.417;OR=2.893,95%CI =2.643~3.168),people who use electronic products at night(OR=1.084,95%CI=1.006~1.169),hypertension(OR=1.704,95%CI=1.572~ 1.847),diabetes(OR=1.251,95%CI=1.099~1.424),and spend more than 3 hours a day sitting and less exercise(OR=1.086,95%CI=1.006~1.173)is poor. There was no statistical relationship among occupation, city and country, drinking and sleep quality(P > 0.05).ConclusionsThe survey found that 30.74% of the permanent residents aged 18 and over in Hebei Province had poor sleep quality.Women,middle-aged and elderly people, using electronic products at night, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking and less exercise time than 3 hours a day are risk factors for sleep quality;BMI is normal, education level is high,occasionally(?1 time/week)eat sweet food,occasionally(?1 time/week)or never eat pickled food, drink milk frequently(4-5 times/week),and less exercise time 2-3 hours a day is sleep quality's protection factors.
