Objective:To investigate the influencing factors of cardiovascular events, peritonitis and death in peritoneal dialysis patients. Methods:Retrospective analysis of peritoneal dialysis patients in the second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 1,2017 to January 31,2019.Collecting clinical data of patients, including sex, age, body mass index, dialysis age, primary kidney disease, blood pressure. And the laboratory indexes of patients including serum calcium, phosphorus, intact parathyroid hormone, alkaline phosphatase, hemoglobin, serum albumin, serum creatinine, uric acid, triglyceride, total cholesterol, etc. At the same time, the incidence of cardiovascular events, peritonitis, death, hemodialysis and renal transplantation were collected.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the possible risk factors of cardiovascular events, peritonitis and death. Results:A total of 222 patients were included in this study, including 99 males(44.6%)and123 females(55.4%).During the follow-up period, there were 35 cases(15.8%)of cardiovascular events,31 cases of peritonitis(14.0%)and 11 cases of death(5.0%).The increase of body mass index(OR,1.126;95% CI,1.002~1.266;P=0.047),systolic blood pressure(OR,1.034;95% CI,1.003~1.067;P=0.033),intact parathyroid hormone(OR,1.002;95% CI,1.001~1.004;P=0.004)and alkaline phosphatase(OR,1.019;95% CI,1.008~1.030;P<0.001)and the decrease of serum albumin(OR,0.903;95% CI,0.835~0.976;P=0.010)are independent risk factors for cardiovascular events in peritoneal dialysis patients. The increase of dialysis age(OR,1.019;95% CI,1.003~1.034;P=0.017)and alkaline phosphatase(OR,1.012;95% CI,1.003~1.020;P=0.010)are independent risk factors for peritoneal dialysis-related peritonitis in peritoneal dialysis patients. The increase of alkaline phosphatase(OR,1.025;95% CI,1.013~1.038;P<0.001)is an independent risk factor for death in peritoneal dialysis patients. Conclusion:The increase of body mass index, systolic blood pressure, alkaline phosphatase, intact parathyroid hormone and the decrease of serum albumin in peritoneal dialysis patients increase the risk of cardiovascular events. The increase of dialysis age and alkaline phosphatase level increase the risk of peritoneal dialysis-related peritonitis. The increase of alkaline phosphatase level increase the risk of death in peritoneal dialysis patients.
