Objective: Hand dysfunction in stroke patients affects their daily activities. The purpose of this study is to explore the therapeutic effect of mirror image therapy(MT)combined with transcranial direct current stimulation(t DCS)on hand function after stroke, and to determine whether t DCS has a gain effect on MT;moreover,to provide further support for the application of MT combined with t DCS in patients with hand dysfunction after stroke. Methods: This study is a single blind, randomized, controlled trial.45 patients with stroke were randomly divided into the combined group, the mirror group and the control group. All the three groups received routine rehabilitation treatment after stroke,2-3h /d,5d/week,for 3 weeks;the mirror group received routine rehabilitation treatment,MT and TCDC pseudo stimulation, the training time was 20min/time,once/d,5d/week,for 3 weeks;the combined group received routine rehabilitation training,MT and TCDC positive stimulation, the training time was 20min/time,once/d,5d/week,for 3 weeks.Brunnstrom stage,Fugl Meyer score and hand function grade were evaluated before and after treatment. Results: After statistical analysis, there was no significant difference in age, gender, course of disease, smoking history, drinking history, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and other risk factors among the three groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable;at the same time, the Brunnstrom stage,FMA score and hand function grade of the right hand in the combined group, the mirror group and the control group before treatment were comparable The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Brunnstrom stage: After treatment, the assessment stage of the combined group and the mirror group increased significantly before and after treatment(P < 0.05),but the improvement of the control group was not significant;the difference between the combined group and the mirror group was statistically significant, but the difference between the mirror group and the control group was not significant.Fugl-Meyer score: After treatment, the patients in the combined group, the mirror group and the control group were significantly improved before and after treatment(P < 0.05);the difference between the combined group and the mirror group was statistically significant, and the difference between the mirror group and the control group was statistically significant.Hand function classification: After treatment, the evaluation stage of patients in the combined group, the mirror group and the control group increased significantly before and after treatment(P < 0.05);the difference between the combined group and the mirror group was statistically significant, and the difference between the mirror group and the control group was statistically significant. Conclusions: In the rehabilitation training of stroke patients, the early treatment of MT combined with t DCS has a positive effect on the improvement of their hand movement function. At the same time,in the rehabilitation treatment,t DCS has a positive effect on the effect of MT treatment.
