Objective The study assessed the cognitive function in patients with Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome?OSAHS?by Montreal Cognitive Assessment?MoCA?and Mini-Mental State Examination?MMSE?scales,to explore the possible impact factors of cognitive dysfunction with OSAHS patients. Methods Ninety patients with snoring were admitted to the sleep center of first people's hospital of yinchuan from December 2017 to December 2019.According to the results of polysomnography?polysomnography,PSG?,they were divided into simple snoring group,mild-to-moderate OSAHS group and the severe OSAHS group, and each group had 30cases.Collecting the general information,PSG monitoring indicators and cognitive scores of the subjects to analyze the correlation between cognitive disorders and each parementers.Results1.There were no significant difference in sex, age,ESS score and education level?P>0.05?.Body mass index?BMI?and Mallampati grade with Severe OSAHS patients higher than simple snoring group. There were significant difference in apnea hypopnea index?AHI?,arousal index?AI?,proportion of shallow sleep?N1%+N2%?,proportion of deep sleep?N3%?,proportion of REM?R%?,hypoxia time, mean oxygen saturation?MSaO2?,Lowest oxygen saturation?LSaO2?and oxygen desaturation index?ODI??P<0.05?.There were significant differences among the three groups in terms of visual space and executive ability, attention, language, abstraction and recall?P<0.05?.2.The cognitive function of OSAHS patients was evaluated by different scales. The scores of MoCA and MMSE were positively correlated with educational level, proportion of deep sleep, and LSaO2?r=0.490/0.477,0.268/0.256,0.374/0.360,P<0.05?,and negatively correlated with age, proportion of shallow sleep,AHI,and ODI?r=-0.283/-0.302,-0.379/-0.354,-0.574/-0.570,-0.479/-0.476,P<0.05?.3.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age and AHI influencing the cognitive function of patients with OSAHS.Age and AHI were risk factors?OR>1;95%CI>1?.Conclusion1.Patients with OSAHS have a higher incidence of cognitive impairmen. The cognitive impairments including visual space and executive ability, attention, recall, language and abstraction, especially in attention, recall and language field.2.The cognitive dysfunction of OSAHS patients is related to multiple factors such as age,BMI,education level,AHI,LSaO2.Age,AHI are particularly closed to cognitive dysfunction.
