| Objective: This study explored the expression of RRM2 and its relationship with clinicopathological factors and prognosis through retrospective analysis of 59 patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma after surgery,in order to provide a basis for clinical treatment and prognosis. Methods :1.Inclusion of cervical squamous cell carcinoma patients(IA-IIB)diagnosed by pathology from February 2010 to September 2012 in Ningbo Women and Children’s Hospital, with complete follow-up data.2.Group according to different clinical factors and pathological factors of patients:age, pregnancy and production times, stage, tumor diameter, histologic grade, depth of stromal invasion, treatment options, lymphatic vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis, surgery margin,RRM2,HPV,SCC,CA125,CA199,CEA 3.Chi-square or Fisher’s exact tests was used to analyze the relationship between RRM2 and clinicopathological factors of the cervical squamous cell carcinoma patients. The five-year survival rate(5-year SR)was calculated by the Kaplan Meier method and the survival curve was plotted.Univariate analysis was performed using LOG-RANK test, and multivariate analysis was performed using COX risk regression model. The test criteria were a=0.05,P<0.05 was considered statistically significant and retrospectively analyzed for risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Results:The overall 5-year SR of 59 patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma was 77.97%.the older the age,the lower the degree of tissue differentiation, the later the FIGO stage, the higher the positive rate of RRM2(both P< 0.05).Univariate LOG-RANK analysis showed: age,FIGO stage, tumor diameter, pathological grade, lymphatic vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion,treatment,RRM2 level,HPV infection,SCC level for postoperative prognosis in patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma The effects were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effects of maternal, marginal, the level of CEA,CA125,and CA199 on postoperative prognosis in patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma were not statistically significant(both P>0.05).COX regression analysis showed: tumor diameter, pathological grade, lymphatic vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis and FIGO staging were independent risk factors for the prognosis of patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma(both P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression of RRM2 was higher in patients with old age,low tissue differentiation, late FIGO stage.Tumor diameter, pathological grade, lymphatic vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis and FIGO staging are independent risk factors for the prognosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.RRM2 is a risk factor affecting the prognosis of cervical cancer. It can be used as an index to predict the adverse prognosis of cervical cancer, but it is not an independent factor. |
