Alzheimer's disease with epilepsy is not uncommon in clinic, and the pathogenesis is complex. There are A?(amyloid-?)deposition caused neural network activity, genetic factors, neuron loss and other factors involved. The high risk factors of Alzheimer's disease with epilepsy mainly include early onset of Alzheimer's disease and severe cognitive impairment. The clinical manifestations of Alzheimer's disease with epilepsy are not typical,in which complex partial seizures are more common, and it is difficult to distinguish from the cognitive impairment of Alzheimer's disease. The diagnostic value of EEG is limited.Antiepileptic drugs have good epilepsy associated with Alzheimer's disease.Drug sensitivity, and some anti-epileptic drugs may help delay cognitive impairment in patients with Alzheimer's disease.Alzheimer's disease with epilepsy often indicates poor prognosis.Early diagnosis and treatment are the key to improve the prognosis. This paper reviews the progress in the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations,EEG,treatment, and prognosis of Alzheimer's disease with epilepsy.
