Calciphylaxis,a multiple cutaneous vascular disease, often accompanied by calcification of the inner wall and endothelial hyperplasia,is characterized by chronic, painful, and non-self-healing wounds that often occur in patients with chronic kidney disease, especially in patients with end-stage renal disease.Once Calciphylaxis was confirmed, the 1-year survival rate for calcified defenses is less than 50%,and most patients die from sepsis secondary to ulcer infection, while almost 80% of patients die in 12 months after ulcer onset. The mechanism by which calcification defense occurs is currently unknown, and related studies have reported that calcification defense is associated with a dysregulated balance of calcification promoters and calcification inhibitors in vivo.To date, there are no clinically valid and specific treatment options available, and combination therapy is still the main treatment pathway. The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of its clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, and treatment through existing literature studies, and to further elucidate the relationship between hyperphosphatemia and calcification defense,so as to provide a detailed global understanding of calcification defense and a scientific theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of calcification defense.
