Effects Of Herbal Fumigating And Wash On Functional Recovery Of Patients With Developmental Dysplasia Of The Hip After Operation

ObjectiveTo observe the effectiveness of Herbal Fumigating on functional recovery after operation of developmental dysplasia of the hip,aim to promote the application of Herbal Fumigating.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criteria,screening and collecting 46 patients who were treated by open reduction and osteotomy operation in our hospital from December 2018 to July 2019.Patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Both the treatment group and the control group underwent preoperative management and postoperative rehabilitation training in 6 weeks postoperatively.The treatment group was treated with the 2nd decoction of Herbal Fumigation before training for 5 weeks.The range of motion of the hip joint which including flexion,extension,adduction,abduction,internal,external rotation,were measured at 6 weeks,8 weeks,11 weeks,24 weeks postoperatively.and the Harris function score of hip joint and the overall efficacy of the two groups were evaluated.All data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 25.0 software.Result1.Difference in age,gender,duration of surgery,intraoperative hemorrhage and classification by Tonnis before operation were compared.No statistical significance(P > 0.05),comparable.2.The ranges of motion of the hip: The ranges of motion of the hip were statistically significant(P < 0.05)in the two groups,the treatment group was higher than that in the control group.The activities were increased over time in two groups,and the difference was statistically significant,There was a significant difference between the two groups in the increase of activity,the increase of the treatment group was greater than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);at the 6th week after operation,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05),the difference between the two groups was statistically significant between the 8th week and 11 th week after operation(P < 0.05).3.Harris hip scores: The Harris scores were no significant difference in the two groups before operation.the comparison between the 8th,11 th and 24 th weeks postoperative groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Efficacy evaluation: the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Safety analysis results: one patient was found in dislocation in the treatment group at the 8th week after the operation.Another patient was found in dislocation in the control group at the 6th week after the operation,all of which should be reduced and plaster fixation.Two patients in the treatment group had local skin allergy on the 7th day after fumigating and washing.ConclusionThe 2nd decoction of Herbal Fumigation with rehabilitation training could obviously improve the functional recovery after operation of developmental dysplasia of the hip,the effect of that is obviously better than that rehabilitation training.
