A large number of studies have shown that children depression has a cross-cultural prevalence and occurs as a ubiquitous problem in the society.Studies have shown that the incidence of children depression is as high as21.8 percent in non-clinically study. As modern society and families pay more and more attention to the cultivation of children's mental health, the problem of children depression naturally attracts more and more people's attention and research. The study tried to explore the influence factors of childhood depression, investigate the specific mechanisms of parental conflict and resilience between maternal depression and children depression. Then the effects of grade and time changes on childhood depression was also discussed.Cross-sectional and longitudinal methods were employed.First, the children's depression inventory(CDI)were employed to investigate into the participants in an elementary school(Taiyuan)from grades 4,5 and 6 in Nov 2018 and Nov 2019.Then,the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale(CES-D),the Children's Perception of Interparental Conflict Scale(CPIC)and Resilience Scale of Chinese Adolescent(RSCA)were employed to investigate the same children and their mother who completed questionnaires.SPSS25.0 was used for statistical analysis, and the final research conclusions were as follows:1.There was no significant gender difference on maternal depression, children depression and resilience, but there was gender difference in the the perception of parental conflict.Boys are more sensitive to the perception of marital conflict than girls. There was significant difference in the resilience and children depression in the grade, the resilience of children in grade 6 is higher than that in grade 4.Children depression was significantly higher in grade 5 than grade 6.2.There was significant difference on children depression in time 1 and time 2.The two times and the change groups of grade had mutual effect, the Grade 5 and Grade 6 in time 2 were significant higher than those in time 1.3.There was significant positive correlation between maternal depression and marital conflict, maternal depression and children depression.Marital conflict is negatively correlated with resilience, positively correlated with children depression.Resilience were negatively correlated with child depression.4.Multiple mediation modeling indicates maternal depression cannot directly affect children's depression, but indirectly affect children's depression through 3 path ways: maternal depression can also affect children's depression through multiple mediating role of marital conflict and resilience, secondly through mediating effect of parental conflict, thirdly through resilience.According to the results, although maternal depression can directly predict childhood depression, when adding the role of parental conflict and resilience to the modeling, maternal depression will lead to parental conflicts, and long-term conflict leads to children's mental resilience level decreases, result in further children depression. The results tell us that mothers should process negative emotions in a timely manner, handle and resolve marital conflicts properly, construct a good atmosphere for children's growth, improve children's resilience and further avoid depression in children.
