The Treatment Progress Of Behavioral And Psychological Symptom In Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease(AD)is a degenerative disease of nervous system,which is the most common cause of the decline of cognitive function.Such patients are often accompanied by a series of psychotic symptoms,such as anxiety,depression,behavioral abnormality,etc,which collectively referred to as behavioral and psychological symptom of dementia(BPSD).And at least 97% of Patients with a 5 year course of disease had at least one symptom.Leading to repeating stay in medical institutions such as geriatric psychiatric wards and increasing social medical expenses.This article reviews the clinical manifestations,classification,evaluation,non drug intervention,drug therapy and physical therapy of BPSD,and to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of BPSD in AD patients.
