Advances Of Exosomes In Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer is one of the common malignant tumors of digestive tract,and its morbidity and fatality rate are gradually increasing.Although the treatment mode of pancreatic cancer is becoming more and more perfect,however,due to its low early diagnosis rate,rapid progress,easy to develop chemotherapy resistance,the prognosis of patients is poor,there is an urgent need to seek new and more effective means of diagnosis and treatment.Current studies have shown that exosomes are a kind of polyvesicular structure originated from cytoplasmic endosome,which can be synthesized and released into extracellular environment by different types of cells.Exosomes can promote the proliferation,angiogenesis,invasion of adjacent normal tissue structure,distant metastasis,chemotherapy resistance of pancreatic cancer.This article focuses on the role of exosomes in the occurrence and development of pancreatic cancer and the progress in early diagnosis,treatment and prognosis judgment of pancreatic cancer.Meanwhile the problems and deficiencies of exosomes in the related research of pancreatic cancer are put forward.
