Objective : To evaluate the outcome of 97 patients with acute leukemia who received peripheral blood allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Methods: We collected information of 97 patients with acute leukemia who received peripheral blood allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation from December 2014 to December 2018 and retrospective analyzed their early and late complications, causes of death, counted 3-year overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS).Lastly,we explored potential risk factors for relapse or death via statistic methods. Results: Among the 97 patients we collected, there were 63 acute myeloid leukemia,33 acute lymphocytic leukemia, and one acute mixed leukemia. The median age at transplantation was 28(12-58y).The median follow-up time was 12(3-54)month.The three-year overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS)are 63.5% and 58.5%,respectively.The major causes of death are intracranial hemorrhage, acute graft versus host disease(aGVHD),infection, and relapse.Multivariate analysis revealedsevere aGVHD(RR: 5.466 95%CI: 1.556-19.196,P=0.008)and platelet transfusion ?5U(RR: 2.340 95%CI 1.078-5.082,P=0.032)are poor prognostic factors for these patients. Conclusions : Peripheral blood allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is an effective choice for patients with acute leukemia.Severe aGVHD and platelet transfusion ?5U are poor prognostic factors for acute leukemia patients who received peripheral blood allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
