Objective The purpose of this study was to conduct a retrospective study on the data of 292 children with henoch-schonlein purpura(HSP)in Enshi area,to analyze the clinical characteristics of HSP in children in enshi area, and to explore the high risk factors of HSP with gastrointestinal and renal damage,so as to provide evidence-based basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods A total of 292children with HSP diagnosed and hospitalized in the Department of Pediatrics of Minda Hospital of Hubei Minzu University for nationalities from January 2014 to December 2018 were collected. The sex, age, nationality, region, season, inducement, clinical manifestations and laboratory indexes of HSP were collected. The clinical characteristics of HSP and the high risk factors of gastrointestinal and renal damage in Enshi area were analyzed by SPSS17.0 software. Results 1.The average age of HSP was(8.34±2.92)years old in Enshi children, and the ratio of male to female was1.13:1.It occurred frequently in winter and spring, and respiratory tract infection was the main cause of infection.2.The most common types of HSP in children were mixed type, abdominal type and simple skin type in Enshi area.in the mixed type, gastrointestinal damage and joint damage were common.3.In this study,292 children developed skin purpura at different stages of the disease, with a proportion of 100%,with gastrointestinal symptoms of 50.00%,joint symptoms of 41.78%,and renal damage of 21.92%.4.In this study, there were 146 cases of HSP with gastrointestinal symptoms, male children were more than female children, the ratio of male to female was 1.70.The age of onset was(8.14±3.12)years old,and most of them occurred in school-age children,What’s more,it occurred frequently in winter and spring.Children with HSP with infection factors were prone to gastrointestinal symptoms(?~2=5.484,P=0.019<0.05).MP infection was associated with HSP with gastrointestinal damage(?~2=4.283,P=0.038<0.05),The older the age,the higher the WBC and CRP were the independent risk factors for the first onset of HSP caused by gastrointestinal damage.5.In this study, there were 64 cases of HSP with renal damage, the male was more than the female, the ratio of male to female was 1.21:1,the age of onset was(8.64±2.69)years old,the older children were more likely to have renal damage, and it was more common in winter and spring.MP infection is associated with renal damage in children with HSP(P<0.05).Streptococcal infection is not associated with renal damage in children with HSP(?~2=1.057,P=0.304>0.05).The older the age,the higher WBC and IgA may be the independent risk factors of HSP with renal damage in children(P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The incidence of HSP in children is common all year round in Enshi area, which occurs frequently in winter and spring. The incidence of male is slightly higher than that of female, and it is more common in school-age.The clinical types are mainly mixed type, abdominal type and simple skin type.2.HSP with gastrointestinal symptoms was the most common in children in Enshi area(50.00%),followed by joint symptoms(41.78%)and renal damage(21.92%).3.The older the age,the higher the WBC and CRP may be the independent risk factors of HSP in children with gastrointestinal symptoms.4.The older the age,the higher the WBC and IgA may be the independent risk factors of HSP with renal damage in children.
