Objective: To explore the influence of the 52-mg levonogestrel-rele asing intrauterine system(LNG-IUS 20)on female emotion and analysis the possible influencing factors simplelyMethods: An retrospectively observational study was conducted in t he women who were placed with the LNG-IUS 20 in the Second Hospi tal of Hebei Medical University from January 2017 to January 2018 an d who also met the inclusion criteria. They were issued electronic questi onnaires which includ the general content questionnaire, the brief POMS scale, the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and the self-rating depression s cale(SDS)through inpatient and/or outpatient follow-up and the follow-u p telephone calls, and the emotional changes of women were analyzed a mong the questionnaires which were completed before,6 months after a nd 1 year after the adoption of LNG-IUS 20.Results: From January 2017 to January 2018,a total of 1,276 wo men were placed the 52-mg levonogestrel-releasing intrauterine system(L NG-IUS 20)in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University, while 558 of whom met the Inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, and 474 of whom completed the emotion questionnaires, with an average age of38.47±5.44 years and an average BMI of 25.96 ±6.29.The results of th e emotional questionnaire analysis before, after and one year after the a doption of LNG-IUS 20 show that:the scores of energy-vitality and selfesteem related emotions in positive emotions were basically the same a mong before,6 months after and 1 year after the adoption of LNG-IUS 20,with p values of 0.895 and 0.752 respectively, both > 0.05,and th e difference was not statistically significant. The average score of anger-h ostility dimension in negative emotions decreased in turn before,6 months after and 1 year after the adoption of LNG-IUS 20,with a p value of 0.01,and the difference was statistically significant. The scores of anx iety before,6 months after and 1 year after the adoption of LNG-IUS 20 were not different significantly(p = 0.496,> 0.05).Though the score s of depression,fatigue-inertia,confusion-bewilderment were lower tha n those before in 6 months and 1 year after the adoption of LNG-IUS 20,but the p values were all > 0.05,and the difference was not statisti cally significant. The average value of TMD which for total emotional di sorder assessment showed a downward trend in before,6 months after a nd 1 year after placed LNG-IUS 20,but the p value was 0.188,> 0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant. The age,BMI,educat ion level,long-term residence, per capita disposable income, effect, satis faction and side effects were correlated with the scores of 5 emotional dimensions,TMD,which in the brief POMS scale and self-rating anxiet y scale,self-rating depression scale before,6 months after and 1 year after placed LNG-IUS 20 respectively, and then multiple linear regressio n analysis was performed.Only the model P value containing effect wa s less than 0.05.Conclusions: The mixed factors such as age,BMI,education level,long-term residence and per capita disposable income have no statistica l significance and can be ignored. The 52-mg levonogestrel-releasing intra uterine system has no significant effect on the two dimensions of energ y-vitality and self-esteem related emotions in positive emotions. However, the LNG-IUS 20 can significantly improve the anger-hostility dimensio n of negative emotions. While,it has little effect on negative emotional dimensions such as anxiety,depression,fatigue-inertia,confusion-bewil derment, etc. Moreover, the LNG-IUS 20 has little effect on the overall assessment of mood disorder. However, the reason why it can improve the dimension of anger-hostility negative emotions is not clear,or is rel ated to its higher effectiveness and satisfaction.
