The Distribution And Immediate Clinical Efficacy Study Of Limin Acupoints On The Liver-yang Hyperactivity Migraines

Objective:The purpose of this study is to find out the distribution law of Limin acupoints in migraine patients with hyperactivity of liver Yang,and to compare and observe the difference between the clinical effect of needling Limin acupoints and traditional meridians,so as to provide an effective clinical basis for the rapid treatment of migraine with hyperactivity of liver Yang and guide the clinical selection of acupoints.Method:This study summarizes the distribution law of their Limin acupoints based on the exploration of 110 cases of Limin acupoints on the liver-yang Hyperactivity migraines.It shows that among them,60 cases are with more than 3 Limin acupoints.And then the 60 cases are equally divided into treatment group and control group according to the random number table method and the order of treatment.For the treatment group,3-4 Limin acupoints are preferentially selected for acupuncture.The acupuncture manipulation is mild reinforcing and attenuating,retaining the needles for 30 minutes.The study records the NRS pain score respectively before acupuncture,at the 1^st,2^nd,5^th,10^th,and 30^thminute of acupuncture.For the control group:with reference to the method of selecting acupoints for liver-yang Hyperactivity migraines in the 6th edition of Acupuncture Therapeutics and the acupoint selection positioning standard in the textbook of Acupoints,this study implements acupuncture without avoiding Limin acupoints.The manipulation is mild reinforcing and attenuating,retaining the needles for 30 minutes.The study records the NRS pain score before acupuncture,at the 1^st,2^nd,5^th,10^th,and 30^thminute of acupuncture.And then it compares their efficacy of 1^st,2^nd,5^th,10^th,and 30^thminute of acupuncture.By utilizing SPSS 25.0,all the data collected above were processed and went through t-test,x2-test and rank-sum where appropriate.Pair-wise comparisons between groups were performed as well.Results:1. This study collects 110 cases of standard liver-yang Hyperactivity migraines.Among them,one or more Limin acupoints are distributed on 100 patients,and the occurrence rate of Limin acupoints was 90.09%;For liver-yang Hyperactivity migraines,the frequency of occurrence of Limin acupoints from high to low is on head and neck,lower limbs,chest and abdomen,andupper limbs;the muscles and vessels with the highest frequency is gallbladder meridian of foot Shaoyang;the top five meridians or non meridians with the highest frequency of occurrence of Limin acupoints:Shuaigu,3 inches besides Dazhui,Fengchi,Taichong and Qimen.2.There was no significant difference in age,gender,course of disease and the number of Limin acupoints between the treatment group and the control group before treatment.Before treatment,NRS pain score for both groups is P=0.245>0.05,and the difference is not statistically significant;after 1-minute treatment,after 3-minute treatment,after 5-minute treatment,after 10-minute treatment,after 30-minute treatment,all P=<0.05?P=<0.05?,statistically significant.For the treatment group,well-healed for 13,excellent for 15,effective for 1,ineffective for 1;the remarked efficacy rate of 93.33%.for the control group,well-healed for 9,excellent for 11,effective for 7,ineffective for 3;the remarked efficacy rate of 66.67%.The chi-square value of the two groups is 6.667,P=0.01<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.The occurrence rate of Limin acupoints on the liver-yang Hyperactivity migraines is higher;Limin acupoints are distributed on head and neck and gallbladder meridian of foot Shaoyang with the high frequency;the top five meridians or non meridians with the highest frequency of Li Min acupoints are:the top five meridians or non meridians with the highest frequency of occurrence of Limin acupoints:Shuaigu,3 inches besides Dazhui,Fengchi,Taichong and Qimen.2. Both groups can effectively reduce the NRS score of the liver-yang Hyperactivity migraines,but the treatment group is faster and more effective.
