Objective: Investigate the relationship between the compliance of statins and recurrent ischemic stroke, analyze the role of statins in the risk factors for recurrent ischemic stroke.Methods:1.Collect continuously patients with ischemic stroke who hospitalized in neurology department of the second hospital of Hebei Medical University from October 2016 to February 2017 and October 2018 to February 2019,then record the general information and related risk factors, telephone or face to face follow-up the hospital for three months, six months, and one years for the knowledge of drug and the relapse of stroke.2.Study group:all enrolled patients were given basic drugs, such as antihypertensive drugs and hypoglycemic drugs.According to the advantages and dis advantages of statins medication compliance, they were divided into the good compliance group and the poor compliance group.Compared the recurrence of stroke in the two groups within 1year,and the compliance of patients in 2016-2017 was compared with that in the same period of 2018-2019.3.The risk factors of ischemic stroke recurrence in all patients were analyzed by single factor and multiple factors.Results:1.The 1065 patients included in the study were followed up for 1 year,33 cases recurred within 3 months after discharge, the recurrence rate was 3.10%;61cases recurred within 6 months, the cumulative recurrence rate was 5.73%;94cases recurred within 12 months, the cumulative recurrence rate was 8.83%.2.The rate of statins use was 91.74%,82.16%,73.24% at 3 months,6 months and one year after discharged. The use rate of statins was 72.69% in patients screened from 2016 to 2017 one year after discharge, and 74.59% in patients screened from 2018 to 2019 in the same period. There was no significant difference in the use rate between the two years(P=0.282,P>0.05).3.Among the 886 patients with excellent adherence to antiplatelet drugs, the recurrence rate(20/151,13.25%)of the statin group with poor compliance(151)was higher than that(56/735,7.62%)of the statin group with good compliance(735),and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.025,P<0.05).4.Among all enrolled patients(1065 cases),the proportion of patients with ischemic stroke complicated with hypertension in the statins compliance group(577/780,73.97%)was higher than that in the compliance group(191/285,67.02%),with statistically significant differences(P=0.025,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in other influencing factors(P>0.05).5.Diabetes(OR:1.649,95%CI:1.038-2.618,P<0.05)and statins compliance(OR : 0.590,95%CI : 0.375-0.928,P<0.05)were independent risk factors for recurrent ischemic stroke.Conclusions:1.The taking rate of statins in patients with ischemic stroke decreased gradually with the extension of discharge time.2.The recurrence rate of ischemic stroke patients increased gradually with the extension of discharge time.3.Ischemic stroke with hypertension is an influencing factors of statins compliance.4.Diabetes and statins compliance were independent risk factors for recurrent ischemic stroke.5.The patients with good statins compliance and ischemic stroke were significantly lower than those in the group with poor statins compliance.
