Objective: To investigate the risk factors of abdominal distension after liver surgery. Methods: The incidence of abdominal distension after hepatectomy in a total of 63 patients in the first affiliated hospital of chongqing medical university from 2017 to 2018 was retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent perioperative management using ERAS.The patients were followed up for perioperative operation, analgesia, diet, defecation and urination, drainage tube, fluid rehydration, minimum albumin index and total hospital stay. The results were statistically analyzed using logistics regression equation.Postoperative pathology confirmed benign disease in19 patients(4%)and malignant disease in 44 patients(69%).Results: Postoperative abdominal distension occurred in 18(28%)of the patients followed up,and no postoperative abdominal distension occurred in 45(72%)of the patients.Postoperative abdominal distension was associated with laparoscopic surgery(P=0.03),surgical approach(P=0.04),postoperative analgesia(P=0.037),and postoperative complications(P=0.012).Conclusion:Postoperative abdominal distension was associated with laparoscopic surgery, surgical method(P=0.04),postoperative analgesia, and postoperative complications.Postoperative complications associated with laparoscopic surgery, right hemihepatic surgery, and PCA alone increased the risk of abdominal distension after liver surgery.
