Clinical Study On Catgut Embedding In Treatment Of Ventilator-Associated Abdominal Distension

Objective: This dissertation includes two parts: literature research and clinical research.The literature study explores the etiology and pathogenesis of ventilator-associated abdominal distension and the latest research progress;clinical research observes the clinical efficacy of acupoint embedding therapy for ventilator-associated abdominal distension.Method:Using clinical randomized controlled method,40 patients meeting the inclusion control group with 20 cases in each group.Control group to Western medicine Mosapride citrate tablets,5mg,Q8 H,nasal feeding.The experimental group embedding acupuncture treatment.The druation of treatment was one week.The oxygenation index,abdominal circumference,first defecation time,gastric emptying time,intra-abdominal pressure,TCM symptom score and APACHE II score at the time of enrollment and after treatment were recorded and statistically analyzed.Results: After the treatment,the TCM symptom scores and intra-abdominal pressure levels in the test group and the control group were decreased to different degrees,and the peristaltic function and respiratory function were improved correspondingly.The experimental group was superior to the control group in all aspects.Conclusion: Acupoint embedding can significantly reduce the symptoms and signs of patients with ventilator-associated bloating,promote the recovery of respiratory function and gastrointestinal function,improve the prognosis of patients,and the operation is simple and convenient,the effect is long-lasting,and has more advantages than conventional western medicine treatment.
