Clinical Study Of Acupuncture Combined With Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Distal Symmetric Multiple Peripheral Neuropathy Of Qi-deficiency And Blood-stasis Diabetes Mellitus

Purpose:This topic through randomized controlled trials,observation,comparison of acupuncture combined with moxibustion with conventional western medicine lipoic acid in improving the deficiency of blood stasis type Distal symmetry multiple neuropathy(Diabetes Distal Symmetrical Polyneuropathy,DSPN)in patients with lower limb symptoms and signs,nerve conduction velocity and the effects of the difference in quality of life,two groups of intervention measures of the differences in clinical efficacy and safety,to provide better clinical treatment of the disease.Method:seventy qualified DSPN subjects with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis were randomly divided into two groups using SPSS22.0 to generate a random number table.Both groups received basic treatment to control blood glucose level.On this basis,the treatment group received acupuncture combined with moxibustion intervention,and the control group received intravenous injection of lipoic acid intervention.Both groups received 3 courses of treatment.The clinical therapeutic effect was evaluated at three stages: 1 week before enrollment,3 courses after treatment and 1 month follow-up after treatment.In lower limb Nerve Conduction Velocity(NCV),Michigan Diabetic peripheral Neuropathy Score(MDNS),Chinese medicine clinical symptom Score,quality of life scale(SF-36)as a test observation of curative effect index,evaluate the clinical effect and safety of two kinds of treatments.Result:1.7 day before enrollment,the two groups had the same baseline and were comparable.2.NCV: After the treatment,the comparison between the two groups was conducted within and between the two groups,suggesting that acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and the lipoic acid group had curative effects in improving NCV of the subjects,but the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with moxibustion treatment was better than that of the lipoic acid group.3.MDNS: after the treatment,comparison was conducted within and between groups.The results indicated that acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and lipoic acid group were effective in improving the clinical symptoms and signs of the subjects,but the treatment effect of acupuncture combined with moxibustion group was better than that of lipoic acid group.4.TCM symptom score: after the treatment,the results showed that acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and lipoic acid group could effectively improve the clinical symptoms of tingling and hypoesthesia of the subjects.In terms of the improvement of limb cooling,pain and fatigue symptoms,acupuncture combined with moxibustion group had a good effect on the improvement of limb pain,cooling and fatigue,while the lipoic acid group had no obvious effect on limb pain,cooling and fatigue.In the improvement of muscle atrophy symptoms,acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and the lipoic acid group were not ideal in the improvement of muscle.After the treatment,the comparison of TCM symptoms and total symptom scores between the groups showed that the acupuncture combined with moxibustion group was significantly better than the lipoic acid group in the improvement of limb numbness,pain,cooling,hypoesthesia,limb fatigue and other symptoms.In terms of muscle atrophy symptoms,there was no significant difference between acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and lipoic acid group in the improvement of muscle atrophy symptoms.Follow-up,acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and lipoic acid TCM symptom integral comparison,the result shows that acupuncture combined with moxibustion and lipoic acid group in improving patients with limb numbness,pain,fatigue,hypesthesia forward curative effect is better than that of lipoic acid group,in terms of improving muscle atrophy,acupuncture combined with moxibustion and lipoic acid group no difference between the forward curative effect.5.SF-36 quality of life score: After the treatment,the comparison among the groups showed that acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and lipoic acid group had an effect on improving the quality of life of the patients.Comparison between groups showed that acupuncture combined with moxibustion group had a better effect on improving the quality of life of patients than the lipoic acid group.During the followup period,the two groups were compared,and the test results showed that the longterm efficacy of acupuncture combined with moxibustion group in improving patients' quality of life was better than that of the lipoic acid group.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture,combined with moxibustion treatment and lipoic acid treatment,is effective in improving nerve conduction velocity,signs and symptoms,TCM syndromes and life quality of patients with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis DSPN.However,the effect of both on the improvement of muscular dystrophy symptoms is not ideal;In terms of improving TCM syndromes,quality of life,clinical signs and symptoms and nerve conduction velocity,the efficacy of acupuncture combined with moxibustion group was better than that of the western medicine group.In terms of longterm efficacy,moxibustion combined with moxibustion group was also superior to the lipoic acid group.2.From the perspective of safety,compliance and overall clinical efficacy,acupuncture combined with moxibustion treatment has more clinical promotion value than western medicine treatment.
