Objective: To compare and analyze the clinical effect of double pulley suture bridge and traditional suture bridge under shoulder arthroscopy in the treatment of rotator cuff tears combined with osteoporosis, and to select the best suture method for the recovery of shoulder joint function in patients with rotator cuff tears combined with osteoporosis. Methods: From January 2017 to January 2019,40 patients in the diagnosis of rotator cuff tears with osteoporosis in Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM(Sichuan Provincial Hospital of TCM),after arthroscopic shoulder rotator cuff repair under as the research object, adopts Double Pulley Suture Bridge technology(Double Pulley DP group)20 cases, using traditional Suture Bridge technology group(Suture-Bridge,SB group)20 cases. The medical records of the two groups were recorded, and the pain score, shoulder joint score, shoulder joint range of motion and retear of the two groups were statistically analyzed at 4 periods, including 1 day before surgery,4 weeks after surgery,12 weeks after surgery and 12 months after surgery. Results: 1.A total of 40 patients in DP group and SB group were followed up completely.2.There was no statistically significant difference in the preoperative general data between the DP group and the SB group(P>0.05).3.There were statistically significant differences in preoperative and postoperative shoulder function scores, pain scores and shoulder range of motion between the DP group and the SB group(P < 0.05).4.The scores of shoulder function, pain and range of motion of shoulder in the DP group were better than those in the SB group at 4 and 12 weeks after surgery, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).5.There was no significant difference in the scores of shoulder function, pain and range of motion between the DP group and the SB group 1 day before surgery and 12 months after surgery(P>0.05).6.No rotator cuff retear was found in the two groups 12 months after surgeryConclusion: double pulley suture bridge and traditional suture bridge under shoulder arthroscopy are both effective methods for the treatment of rotator cuff injury with osteoporosis, but double pulley suture bridge has certain advantages over traditional suture bridge in early postoperative pain relief and shoulder joint functional rehabilitation.
