Objective:To observe the improvement of "modified Guifu Lizhong Decoction" on the symptoms of enteral feeding intolerance in patients with acute cerebral infarction, from EFI score, nutrition index, days of intolerance symptoms, qualified days for feeding, incidence of intolerance,NRS2002 scores, safety indicators, etc.Exploring the clinical significance of TCM in treating enteral feeding intolerance in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:The randomized controlled trial was used to randomly divide the 66 patients with acute cerebral infarction that met the inclusion criteria into a treatment group and a control group. In addition to basic treatment, the treatment group was given enteral nutrition and oral Chinese medicine " modified Guifu Lizhong Decoction";the control group was given an appropriate amount of enteral nutrition and the same placebo as the oral Chinese medicine packaging.Observed for 3 weeks, and recorded the EFI score, nutrition index, days of intolerance symptoms, feeding qualified days, incidence of intolerance,NRS2002 score, safety indicators, etc.before and after treatment in two groups of patients.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)EFI score evaluation:There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups on the first day of treatment(P>0.05),After 1 week and 3 weeks of treatment, the treatment group showed significant improvement compared with the control group, and the difference of curative effect was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Evaluation of days of intolerance symptoms:Compared with the number of days of diarrhea and constipation between the two groups, the treatment group was less than the control group, and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of days of vomit between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)Evaluation of qualified days for feeding:Compared with the number of qualified feeding days between the two groups, the treatment group was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.01).(4)NRS2002 score evaluation:The intra-group comparison in both groups showed that the after treatment was all better than before, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison between the two groups was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Evaluation of nutritional indicators:The BMI group in the two groups was better in after treatment compared with that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in ALB and PAB between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in ALB(P>0.05).There was the significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group in PAB,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.01).(6)Safety indicators:The blood routine, liver and kidney function and other indicators of the two groups before and after treatment were within the normal range, and no adverse reactions and adverse events occurred during the entire study.Research conclusions:The prescription " modified Guifu Lizhong Decoction" can reduce the incidence of intolerance and the number of days of intolerance, increase the number of eligible feeding days for patients. At the same time, this study confirms that the use of Chinese medicine " modified Guifu Lizhong Decoction" combined with enteral nutrition has obvious advantages compared with the use of enteral nutrition and placebo, which deserves further clinical research.
