Study On The Current Status And Influencing Factors Of Health Promoting Lifestyle Among Empty-nest Elderly In Binzhou Community

Objectives To understand the Current status of the health promoting lifestyle among the empty-nest elderly,and explore the influencing factors of the health promoting lifestyle among the empty-nest elderly.To provide theoretical basis of the formulation targeted interventions of the health promoting lifestyle.Methods From October 2018 to September 2019,A total of 613 empty-nest elderly of a community in bincheng district,binzhou city,shandong province were selected as research objects by means of convenient sampling,and the questionnaire was conducted.The general demographic questionnaire,HPLP-?C,ADL,Frail scale,GDS-15 and ULS-6 were used as the evaluation tools to investigate the health promoting lifestyle,the ability of daily life,frailty,depression,loneliness of the 613 empty-nest elderly.The database was set up with Excel,and the data was analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.T-test,variance analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis were used to analyze the current situation and influencing factors of the health promoting lifestyle among the empty-nest elderly in community.The path analysis model is used to analyze the action paths among the influencing factors.Results 1 The health promoting lifestyle of empty-nest elderly The total health promoting lifestyle score was(100.27±7.06).The mean score of nutritional behavior dimension(3.28±0.36),self-actualization behavior dimension(2.79±0.28),social support behavior dimension(2.78±0.31),stress management behavior dimension(2.38±0.28),sports behavior dimension(2.19±0.32),health responsibility behavior dimension(1.89±0.30).2 Single factor analysis on the health promoting lifestyle among the emptynest elderly The results showed that gender,age,education level,pre-occupation nature,economic sources,monthly income,marital status,children's relationship,daily time out,love to go out,type of chronic diseases,type of long-term medication,self-assessment of health,the ability of daily life,frailty,depression,loneliness were related to the health promoting lifestyle of empty-nest elderly,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 Multiple factors analysis on the health promoting lifestyle of the empty-nest elderly The results showed that Loneliness,education level,the ability of daily life,frailty,self-assessment of health,economic sources,daily time out were factors of the health promoting lifestyle among the empty-nest elderly,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4 Path analysis model The results showed that loneliness and education level have an impact on the health promoting lifestyle of empty-nest elderly through direct and indirect approaches.The mediating effect of loneliness on the path of daily time out was 26.9%,and that of frailty was 9.9%.The mediating effect of education level in the economic source on health promoting lifestyle was 49.5%.Conclusions 1 The health promoting lifestyle of the empty-nest elderly at a good level.which the nutrition behavior was the best,and the health responsibility behavior was the worst.2 The main factors affecting the health promoting lifestyle of the empty-nest elderly were loneliness,educational level,the ability of daily life,frailty,self-assessment of health,economic source,and daily time out.3 Loneliness and education level play an important direct and indirect role in promoting healthy lifestyle of the empty-nest elderly.Therefore,effective intervention policies should be formulated to maintain a healthy lifestyle by combining the joint efforts of the elderly themselves,their families and the society.4 The loneliness of empty-nesters should be alleviated in many ways,and the healthy lifestyle of the empty-nest elderly should be improved through health education.Figure3;Table16;Reference 22...
