Objective: To investigate the influencing factors of hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),and to provide the reference for optimizing diabetes patients' blood glucose management. Methods: A total of 684 inpatients with T2DM who were treated at Endocrinology Department of Hebei General Hospital from January 1,2019 to June 30,2019 were selected. They were divided into hypoglycemia group(128 cases)and non-hypoglycemia group(556 cases). The electronic medical record system was used to obtain the baseline characteristics and clinical laboratory indexes of the enrolled patients, and the Johnson blood glucose monitoring system was used to collect the patients' blood glucose monitoring data. The data analysis of the influencing factors of hypoglycemia was performed using SPSS21.0 software. Results: 1.Compared with patients in the non-hypoglycemia group, patients in the hypoglycemia group were older and had longer duration of diabetes, and lower BMI?Hb A1c?ALB?TG?VLDL-C?tMBG?TIR and fMBG,but tSDBG?tCVBG?LAGE?fSDBG and fCVBG were higher.Patients with hypoglycemia were more likely to have diabetic peripheral neuropathy?diabetic nephropathy and atherosclerosis than those without hypoglycemia. There were statistically significant differences in all the above-mentioned indicators between the two groups(P<0.05);2.The results of logistic regression analysis showed that duration of diabetes and LAGE were risk factors for hypoglycemia, and Hb A1c?TG?t MBG and TIR were protective factors for hypoglycemia;3.Chi-square test was used to compare the difference in the incidence of hypoglycemia at different levels of the influencing factors of hypoglycemia. The results indicated that the incidence of hypoglycemia was higher when patients had longer duration of diabetes and higher LAGE,and the incidence was lower when TG,t MBG and TIR of patients were higher, and all of them had statistical differences(P<0.05).While the level of Hb A1 c had no significant correlation with the incidence of hypoglycemia(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Age?BMI?diabetes duration?HbA1c?ALB?TG?VLDL-C?t MBG?t SDBG?t CVBG?LAGE?TIR?fMBG?fSDBG and fCVBG are all significantly associated with hypoglycemia.2.T2 DM patients with a longer diabetes duration, lower TG level, lower MBG,and greater fluctuation in blood glucose have an increased risk of hypoglycemia. For patients with the above characteristics, doctors should pay attention to strengthening their blood glucose management, and develop individualized blood glucose target to prevent hypoglycemia.
