Purpose With the development of social economy, the change of dietary pattern structure and lifestyle, the prevalence of obesity among children and adolescents is increasing year by year, which has become one of the most serious public health problems in the world, especially in developing countries. With the increasing prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents, the problems of obesity-related complications are increasingly prominent, which can involve multiple organs, including endocrine, cardiovascular and skin systems. Therefore, early recognition of obesity-related complications is very important for the diagnosis, treatment and further management of obesity. Methods The data of 2916 cases of obesity diagnosed in the Department of endocrinology of children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University Medical College from 2008 to 2017 were analyzed retrospectively.Excel database was established and the complications of hypertension, abnormal blood glucose, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome were analyzed.Rusults 1.Among 2916 children and adolescents with obesity, there were 1954(67%)males and 962(33%)females with an average age of 10.5 ± 2.6 years. The height SDS was 1.02(0.98,1.06),weight SDS was 3.39(3.33,3.44),BMI SDS was 3.08(3.05,3.11),waistheight ratio was 0.604(0.602,0.606).2.There was no significant difference in fasting blood glucose, impaired glucose tolerance, abnormal blood glucose, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and metabolic syndrome between the two groups,There were significant statistical differences in NAFLD,and the detection rate of hyperuricemia, acanthosis nigricans, liver damage and NAFLD in men were higher than that in women(P < 0.05).the detection rate of hyperuricemia, abnormal liver function,NAFLD and metabolic syndrome were significantly higher in male than in female(P < 0.05).The detection rate of hypertension, dyslipidemia, acanthosis nigricans, and metabolic syndrome were lower than that of women(P < 0.05).3.the detection rate of impaired glucose tolerance, abnormal blood glucose, type 2 diabetes and hypertension in the 2013-2017 group was higher than that in the 2008-2012 group(P < 0.05),and the matsuda index was lower than before.4.Regardless of age,the detection rate of hypertension in the 2013-2017 group was higher than that in the 2008-2012 group(P < 0.05).5.Among obese patients ? 10 years old,the detection rate of of Met S in men and women was 37.8% and 44.4%,and there were statistical differences(p <0.05).Conclusion The detection rate of NAFLD ranks first in related complications, especially in obese male children of older age(? 10 years old),so we should strengthen the screening of liver B-ultrasound and transaminase in this part of children;in recent years, the detection rate of abnormal blood glucose and hypertension is on the rise;in addition, the detection rate of abnormal blood glucose, abnormal blood lipid and Met S in obese female children of older age(? 10 years old)is higher,so we should strengthen the monitoring of obesity related indicators in adolescent women.
