Objective: To identify the risk factors of postoperative delirium of elderly hip fracture. Methods: A total of 100 patients with elderly hip fracture admitted orthopaedics department of our hospital between March 2015 and March 2018 were enrolled as the observation group.60 patients with elderly hip fracture admitted to the hospital at the same time with no postoperative delirium occurred were selected as the control group. The complications type and various indicators in the perioperative period were recorded using a self-made questionnaire. Results: The incidence of hypertension in the observation group(68.00% vs 46.67% P<0.05),the incidence of diabetes(65.00% vs 45.00% P<0.05),the incidence of coronary heart disease(58.00% vs 35.00% P<0.05),the operation time of more than 2 hours(60.00% vs 45.00% P<0.05),the ratio of age over 85 years old(61.00% vs 45.00% P<0.05),and the incidence of postoperative hypoxemia(64.00% vs 33.33% P<0.05),the incidence of electrolyte disturbance(67.00% vs 40.00% P<0.05),the incidence of hypoproteinemia(70.00% vs 48.33% P<0.05)and hemoglobin< 80 g/L in perioperative period(54.00% vs 36.67% P<0.05)was significantly higher than that of the control group.Hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease, operative time of more than 2 hours, the age over 85 years old, postoperative hypoxemia, electrolyte imbalance, postoperative NRS score?4,hypoproteinemia and anemia after operation were classified as risk factors for perioperation delirium. The independent risk factors of postoperative delirium of elderly hip fracture patients are operation time of more than 2 hours, the higher patient's age, postoperative hypoxemia, electrolyte disturbance, postoperative NRS score?4,postoperative hypoproteinemia, perioperative moderate or above anemia. Conclusion: Perioperative sputum in patients with elderly hip fracture is closely related to long operation time, elderly patients, postoperative hypoxemia, electrolyte imbalance, hypoproteinemia, moderate or above anemia and postoperative pain.
