Objective: In this study, oat bran intensive dietary intervention was carried out for 12 weeks on type 2 diabetes with overweight or obese patients(stomach heat and spleen deficiency type). The thesis analyzes whether oat bran intensive dietary intervention can effectively and safely improve the clinical indicators of type 2diabetes with overweight or obese. Methods: 72 patients with overweight/obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus(stomach-heat spleen-deficiency type)were enrolled,36 of them were randomly assigned to the experimental group, and the other 36 to the control group. The control group was given basic treatment plus conventional Western medicine. The experimental group was supplemented with oat bran three meals a day(25 grams each time,75 grams daily for 12 weeks)on the basis of the control group. After the expectation, statistical software was used to analyze, compare the clinical symptoms, weight,BMI,WC,WHt R,Hb A1 c,FPG,2h PG and other indicators of the two groups of patients, and initially evaluate the effectiveness and safety.Results:(1)The TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased(P<0.05),and clinical symptoms were improved. The total effective rates of syndrome efficacy in the experimental group and the control group were 83.87% and 60.60%,respectively.The efficiency is higher than the control group(P<0.05);(2)After intervention, the obesity-related indicators(weight,WC,WHt R)of the two groups decreased(P<0.05).Compared between the groups, the above-mentioned indicators of the experimental group decreased more significantly(P<0.05);The difference in BMI before and after intervention in the experimental group was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in BMI before and after intervention in the control group;(3)Hb A1 c decreased after intervention in both groups(P<0.05).Comparison between groups showed that the decrease in Hb A1 c in the experimental group was more significant(P<0.05);(4)2h PG decreased after intervention in both groups(P<0.05),the comparison between the two groups showed that the decrease in2 h PG in the experimental group was more significant(P<0.05);(5)HDL-C and Apo-Al increased in the experimental group after intervention(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the blood lipid index of the control group before and after intervention;(6)IL-6,TNF-?,SOD,and MDA all improved after intervention in both groups(P<0.05).Comparison between the groups showed that the experimental group improved the above indicators more significantly(P<0.05);(7)There was only one gastrointestinal adverse reaction in the test group, and the incidence of adverse reactions was 3.03%.Conclusion:(1)Oat bran can improve clinical symptoms, significantly reduce obesity-related indicators, effectively reduce postprandial blood glucose, reduce glycated hemoglobin, improve blood lipids, improve inflammatory factors and oxidative stress markers.(2)The incidence of adverse reactions of the digestive system caused by oat bran is low and the safety is good.
