Objectives:To explore the characteristics of PCOS patients with HI and those without HI in clinical characteristics,TCM physique distribution and health self-management ability, find the same points and different between the two,and provide a reference for the clinical individualized treatment and health guidance of the two. Methods:A questionnaire survey was performed on patients who met the gynecological clinic of Sichuan Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and met the inclusion criteria of this study. The obtained data was entered into Excell to establish a database and analyzed with SPSS 25.0.Results:Through the study of 113 patients with PCOS with hyperinsulinemia and 78 patients with PCOS without hyperinsulinemia, the results are as follows:1.The differences in PCOS-related family history between the two groups were statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the two groups in age, education, work nature, marital status, motherhood history, smoking and drinking history.2.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in acne status, weight status, and levels of basal hormones LH,LH / FSH,and E2.The incidence of acne, overweight and obesity in the PCOS with HI group were higher than those in the PCOS without HI group;the LH level and LH / FSH ratio of the PCOS without HI group were higher than those in the PCOS with HI group. There were no significant differences in menstrual conditions, hirsutism, and levels of basic hormones FSH,T,FT,P,and PRL between the two groups.3.The differences in the distribution of TCM constitution between the two groups were statistically significant. The descending order of constitution distribution in the PCOS with HI group was: phlegm dampness(27.4%),qi depression(21.2%),damp heat(15.0%),yang deficiency(8.8%),qi deficiency(8.8%),yin deficiency(8.0%),peaceful physique(6.2%),blood stasis(3.5%),and special constitution(0.9%).The descending order of physical distribution of the PCOS with HI group is: Yang deficiency(20.5%),qi depression(20.5%),damp heat(16.7%),peaceful physique(14.1%),phlegm dampness(10.3%),qi deficiency(7.7%),yin deficiency(6.4%),blood stasis(3.8%),and special constitution(0.0%).4.The difference in total score between the two groups in AHSMSRS was statistically significant. The PCOS with HI group was lower than the PCOS without HI group, which was reflected on the health self-management environment scale.Specific differences in the three dimensions of disease response,self-efficacy,and data utilization. In terms of dimensions, there was no significant difference in the residual component table and the dimensions. However, the overall scores of the two groups were not high, especially in three dimensions of diet management, exercise management, and data utilization.Conclusions:1.The related family history may affect the incidence of PCOS with hyperinsulinemia.2.The two groups had different clinical characteristics. The incidence of acne, overweight and obesity in the PCOS with HI group were higher than those in the PCOS without HI group;the LH level and LH / FSH ratio of the PCOS without HI group were higher than those in the PCOS with HI group.3.The TCM constitution of the two groups had their own characteristics. The PCOS with HI group was mostly phlegm dampness,qi depression, and damp heat. The PCOS without HI group was mostly Yang deficiency,qi depression, and damp heat.4.The health self-management ability of the two groups of patients was not ideal,PCOS with HI group was worse than PCOS without HI group.mainly reflected in diet management, exercise management and data utilization.
